It's going to be frighetening to see what WWE does with Colt. Frighteningly awesome! I almost hope he gets a Wrestlecrappy gimmick, because I swear he could make it work. The only thing they could do bad with him is give him a dead-serious ass-kicker gimmick...and even then he'd probably play it in such a way that it would be hilarious. Yeah, I hope they prove me wrong, and we don't get Eugene 2. I gotta say, I saw a pic of Colt in someone's sig from heat, and him giving the thumbs down and razzing people...I was laughing, and I didn't even know what the context was. I really wish I had been able to see him live in ROH now.

Why would it be great for him to shoot on the WWE? Just to add another person to the long list of crybabies and whiners about how the big bad WWE and McSatan wronged them by running a business. WAH WAH WAH. Well, that's why I said he probably won't, because he's smarter than that. But yeah, I'm sure as crap not falling into the "WWE is awesome happy lollipops" camp. So pretty please, with sugar on it, go smurf a goat. HAHAHA. Okay I am done laughing at you. I dont know about awesome lollipops but I guess I am different because I watch wrestling and try to enjoy the show. I dont sit there and watch RAW, Impact, ECW, Smackdown or read the Newz and look for reasons to bitch and whine like you. Regarding your last comment about the goat, I would but I am busy with your mom. Yes shes ugly but smurfing ugly pieces like her need a good smurfing too. So smurf you. SMURF SMURF SMURF! Enough smurfs for you?

Vince Russo: Put the title on WVO, stat! Jeff Jarrett: Now wait just a minute, Vince! Not until I get my 1,000th shot! I know this is a joke, but I think TNA would benefit from trying to make OVW a developmental territory. Number one, if Cornette could get back in with Danny Davis it'd be easy. Two, they already have an established television show and fan base. I think if TNA were smart they'd jump at this opportunity and try to use OVW. And three, Jim Cornette can start smacking around the OVW talent again.

I like how Burchill used "they" - last night was probably his last developmental appearance for a very long time.

So, is there going to be a March show lovingway? I missed this one due to some schedule conflicts, and now it looks like I missed the last one.

Yes they promoted it last night and it's on the site, but the WWE talent will be gone. And Burchill isn't done with OVW yet. He still has to lose the tag belts with Sanders

Too bad, so much talent was developed in OVW but it's been pretty obvious this was going to happen for a while now. Yeah, but not good talent. The current generation of "Superstars", many of whom came from OVW, are seriously lacking in the fundamentals of the business. I'm happy WWE is attempting to go somewhere else to recruit the next generation of preformers It's certainly not OVW's fault that WWE takes talent before they're ready. I think in a company who's trainers who Al Snow, Lance Storm, Tommy Dreamer, Rip Rogers, Nick Dinsmore, Danny Davis, and their bookers were Paul Heyman and Jim Cornette is going to bring in a horrible lack of talent. Lance Storm talked about how a lot of the time, talent would be called up before they were ready, and talent he felt were ready (like Matt Cappotelli) would be left down in OVW.

You said it better than I could, Andrew. Lack of communication also hurt things also. I'm not mad that WWE and OVW after partners anymore. If it means that at end of the day we get better superstars, it's all good.

As far as if OVW will survive, let's not forget that Heartland Wrestling Association in Cincinnati used to be a WWE territory. In fact, at the time of the breakup with WWE, they had a lot of established former WCW & ECW superstars (including Stevie Richards, Hugh Morrus, and even Raven), and they survived and are still around today.
OVW can do one of two things here: 1. Close Derby City Wrestling and move their wrestlers to the main OVW roster 2. Sign some other talent from around the midwest.

HWA has went through a lot of owners though. Les was "renting to own" the HWA to Cody Hawk, but now has sold it to somebody else. The current HWA has only ran like 2 shows in the last 6 months
