If true, haven't ratings been going up in the last month?

If it's true, about goddamn time they left that sinking channel. Who the hell still watches CW for anything but SmackDown! anyway? I don't care what channel they show it on, as long as it's network TV. Not all of us can afford both cable AND internet you know. Agreed.

Haven't ratings been going up in the last month? Yes, hence my confusion and skepticism.

Holy Cow! Well, it looks like my HD connection to WWE is now dead (since my cable provider doesn't provide USA or SciFi HD. Then blame PW Torch. Those guys reported it, and claim they got that communique that WWE sent out to the media. It just got reported a HOUR ago.

I think the problem with SD! is that CW forked over, unless I'm mistaken, about $300,000* a week, and considering the ratings.....CW believes that they need a reduction in fees if SD! is to continue on friday nights.
*=Correction?

I'm confused here. Doesn't this statement also indicate that this is as much WWE's choice as it as CW? It seems this may be in part be due to other networks contacting WWE as it says in the statement. Unless I'm reading into this the wrong way.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear that CBS didn't really want wrestling in their programming (since they do own 50% of the company). Combine that with a possible change of interest in Warner Bros., and that would equal a cancellation of the show.

Wait, Did CW cancel it, or did WWE pull it?

Well, I gotta think WWE has some sort of plan for this. I could see USA picking it up. I can't see the show and brand dying. I'd also be surprised if they didn't switch it back to Thursdays
EDIT: they probably wanted to get it switched to an NBC owned channel. I could see that being a factor too

Wait, Did CW cancel it, or did WWE pull it? CW canned it (which will be sometime in May).

Thinking about it, with WWE and NBC being partners, this isn't that big a surprise with CBS owning the CW. Plus I imagine CBS aren't the biggest wrestling fans.
