Well yeah but you have to remember kayfabingly speaking that it only has to wind you for "3 seconds" and you're done.

Ok, this one has been bugging me. I have been rewatching the Ladder Match DVD and watching the TLC classics. Here's my question, the ring crew sets up about thirty tables, ladders, and chairs around the ring, but the Dudleys, Hardys, and E&C CONSTANTLY keep pulling new ones out from under the ring. Why? They're right there around the ring. At one point, D-Von goes for a table, sees there aren't any under the ring, and there is literally three or four right in front of him ready to go.

If a wrestler is coming out as a suprise and no one knows, how does their music get cued up? On the same note, why play music when you're doing a run in? I always imagined a switchboard with big buttons for each wrestler that they press themselves on their way out to cue their music, pyro, titon tron video and whatever else they need. Theres buttons for each situation to...like "HHH with song intro" (which is the "Time to play the game...") "HHH without intro" (which skips right to "Its all about the game and how you play it")

Do announce suffer from short term memory loss? If not how many times do we have to hear "Noone has ever done that" or "I've never seen him do that before" when it already happened multiple times? Here is the best example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMuZKW39tqg&feature=relatedFastfoward to 3:47. Michael cole never saw Batista do that and he swore to god. lol

Why does the wwe to continue to have contract signings done int he ring?, it never ends well.
Why is it in a ladder match, during a hanging from the belt holder spot does the wrestler simply not grab the title as he falls?
And where did Kane go to get his reconstructive surgery? I'm sure tons of burn patients would love to look as normal as he dose after being burnt, and having his vocal cords destroyed in a fire.

to answer the question about a dropkick hurting, I remember reading in an interview with Brian Pillman (RIP) that when you go for a dropkick you intend to connect with your opponent and thus plan to land that way so it doesn't hurt you. When you don't connect with your intended target, you have nothing to push off of and you then land differently as opposed to if you had pushed off of your target.

When the ladder is just under the belts/briefcase, why in hell do they decide to then place it 2 meters away?

- Why does no-one try to ever piledriver an opponent these days, it was never made illegal in kayfabe...
- Why do the arms of wrestlers seem unable to do anything when in a side headlock?
- How come the cameras are always in the right place at the right time backstage? We never cut to a shot where absolutely nothing is going on.

Here is the best example: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMuZKW39tqg&feature=relatedFastfoward to 3:47. Michael cole never saw Batista do that and he swore to god. lol Well, to his credit, he doesn' t say he' never seen Batista do that (the second time anyway) but he swears he' s never seen Batista. Maybe Cole was looking the other way whenever Big Dave appeared. A lot of people point that out. I personally always assumed that in kayfabe, the camera isn' t here. So they show the footage to make the spectators aware of what' s going on, but no-one in the roster is kayfably aware of what happened, because there is no camera ! Another explanation I have is that the owners of the feds put hidden cameras everywhere and there are people payed to check if anything abnormal is going on backstage and if they notice such a thing, they show it on TV. Of course, one could wonder why no wrestler ever sued for private life violation, but that' s the best kayfabe theory I have. Anyway, I always wondered how comes guys who allegedly hate each other to the point they want to throw each other into barbed wire accept to pose together for a Pay Per View poster. Also, how comes wrestlers ALWAYS decide to settle their rivalries at Pay-Per-Views ? Funny how their feuds always coincidently reach their peak at the events that draw the most money.

Doesn't seem to work too well with arm wrestling matches or pose downs either.

And where did Kane go to get his reconstructive surgery? I'm sure tons of burn patients would love to look as normal as he dose after being burnt, and having his vocal cords destroyed in a fire. His "burns" were a figment of his imagination. They explained that one five years ago. What I don't get is how wrestlers who get arrested (say, Steve Austin) always managed to get freed ontheir own recognizance & often return to the arena that the show was in before the show had ended. And Austin did that repeatedly. Shirley, one look at his rap sheet would mean that Austin would be denied that particular luxury. At one point, Eric Bischoff was fired by Vince & later in the show, we saw the Bisch cleaning out his office. Since Raw was in a different arena every week, wouldn't Bischoff have had to clean out his office anyway? Or did he, for some reason, have an office in every building where Raw was to be filmed?

Bischoff had a protable office that they set up in every they went to. I thought everyone knew that. It always had the same decoration, even.

- Why is a stiff slap on the back the preferred way to wake someone up after they've been put out with a sleeperhold?
- When you're thrown over the top rope, why bother to "skin the cat" when you could just land feet-first on the floor, slide back into the ring and sneak attack your opponent in about 1/3 the time?
- If Stone Cold is a wild, foul-mouthed redneck who refuses to be censored, how come he never uses the f-word on TV?
- Why don't headbutts ever knock anyone out cold?
- Why aren't wrestlers ever disqualified for throwing opponents into the ring steps or slamming them through the announcers' tables?
- Why do champions sometimes wrestle non-title matches? Wouldn't that increase the likelihood of injury when it comes time to defend the title? Who decides that a mid- or low-card wrestler is entitled to a non-title match?
- What are wrestlers trying to accomplish when they criss-cross while running the ropes?
- If Bret Hart decided to wrestle ill with a 103-degree fever, wasn't the Mountie at risk of also getting sick? Or any other wrestler who performed in the ring that night?

How come it's illegal to hit someone with an open fist but it's fine to hit them with an elbow or knee - even from the top rope?
How come it's illegal to "blatantly choke" someone but sleeper holds are ok?

How come it's illegal to "blatantly choke" someone but sleeper holds are ok? Because sleepers are a "blood choke" as opposed to a regular "air choke" I'm not saying it makes sense that one is banned and one isn't, but that's the difference

Also, how comes a chair shot or a shot with any foreign item (including heel shoes) is an instant KO in a match that enforces disqualifications but you need at least 3 chair finishers to get the job done in a no-DQ/Hardcore match, even if those are the same guys who wrestle in both matches ?
And if he wants to use his sledgehammer to take his enemy down before their big match, why does Triple H so often strike them with the handle rather than with the hammer itself, which would probably break their bones and force them to forfeit ?
Something I' ve been wondering for a while, how comes wrestlers who get low blowed get back up and are fine 30 seconds after the blow. Seriously, when I get hit in the balls, I' m down for at least two minutes, clutching my crotch, and it keeps hurting for at least 15 minutes. And THEY get PUNCHED on purpose, with full force. I' d assume they' d be writhing in pain for at least 5 minutes.
Speaking of low blows, since it' s a well-known fact that heels often strike their opponents in the balls to win, why do the faces NEVER think of wearing a protective shell ?

Wrestlemania 10. Macho Man vs... Someone. That happened. It sucked. I think it was bam bam, and it was not a last man standing, it was a falls count anywhere where if you got pinned, you had to get back to the ring in 10 seconds It was Crush (in full Hawaiian mode). It was the first thing that came to mind for me too when seeing this question. And boy it did suck.

In a match it often takes over 20 mins to weaken an opponent enough to be able to use a finisher on them. However in a promo segment finishers can be applied instantly. Why?

Why don't they hire bigger referees who aren't going to get knocked out of the ring and be unconscious forever?

Are there other kinds of Russian leg sweeps besides the side Russian leg sweep?
