If there is another thread like this, feel free to lock it. This is about common sense questions you always wondered when you were watching wrestling. Here are some of mine:
Why didn't the Million Dollar Man just buy the whole company if he wanted the belt so bad?
Why is it that in these supposedly unplanned matches, the pay per views usually go three hours on the dot?
If a wrestler is coming out as a suprise and no one knows, how does their music get cued up?
On the same note, why play music when you're doing a run in?
When some one is whipped into a corner, why not just stop running, why run and turn into the corner?
Anyway you guys come up with some.

Instead of just firing people and taking pleasure in their unemployed misery, Vince will always give his hated enemy a chance to redeem themselves (almost always at Vince's expense), yet, Vince never learns.

How do savages get work permits and passports? Here's looking at you, Kamala, Umaga, Bezerker. Replace 'savage' with mad-man and apply to the Ultimate Warrior character.

While he never went on to become successful in the ring, does one think that a guy like Duke Droese was one of the smartest men in the wrestling business. I mean for one thing he got to earn 2 incomes, and while he was able to wrestle because he enjoyed it, he also had another job on the side that gave him security because I would assume he was apart of the Dept. of Sanitation union?

Why is the EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE so serious when there are dozens of things made of metal at ringside?

Why is the EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE so serious when there are dozens of things made of metal at ringside? I've been told by actual wrestlers that the exposed turnbuckle is actually insanely painful.

Anything can be painful if you ram someones face into the pointy part of it.
The ring steps would work just as well if they aimed their opponents face into it properly. And of course if you're in a no DQ situation, just grab the bell hammer or something.

I'll give it a try.
-In a Last Man Standing match, why not knock some one down, and then tie their legs together so they can't get up to their feet? -When competing in a Royal Rumble, why run to the ring? As a matter of fact, why not just hide under the ring until the last 2 men are in the ring trying to eliminate each other, and push them out? Nobody says you can't be a chickens***. -Say you have a title match where there are first blood rules. Why not just stab your opponent at the beginning of said match with a small razor and be done with it? -Why is it that every person who is a referee (other wrestlers included) gets hurt so much by such little contact? -When HBK is "tuning up the band", why do fans count?

Why did Vince never just fire Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Why did Vince never just fire Stone Cold Steve Austin? He did at Judgment Day. Linda McMahon and/or Shane McMahon reinstated him though after his "termination"

Why did Vince never just fire Stone Cold Steve Austin? Agreed, in kayfabe he had every reason to. Also, why do huge grudges have to be settled by flipping each other around? Surely, it would be easier for a fist fight?

-When HBK is "tuning up the band", why do fans count? I think that's bordering more on "unexplainable mystery of the universe" territory there.

- When a wrestler is billed from "parts unknown" why don't they just look at their drivers liscence/passport?
-How does a backstabber win a match? I mean yeah i'm sure it hurts, but who gets knocked out by a blow to the back?
- Why spend all the time figuring out who .saveus.222 was? Dosen't the WWE have cyber security?
- How do the wrestlers remain the same weight for years at a time? They should publish a diet book...
- Why would anyone want to get married on TV? Name one wedding that went smoothly...

Surely, it would be easier for a fist fight? He also said to Mankind once that the reason he doesn't fire Austin is because Austin makes him boatloads of money, whereas he (Mankind) doesn't, and that he's fired.

Why did Vince never just fire Stone Cold Steve Austin? Agreed, in kayfabe he had every reason to. I always explained this to myself by thinking that any wrestler who feuded with Vince didn't get fired because Vince knew said wrestler would make the company too much money, so Vince thought, 'If he is going to antagonise me, I'm going to rake in the money because of it'.

Why does missing a dropkick hurt?
When hitting a dropkick means you land in exactly the same way.

If you are trying to punish someone and you have them face off against say, Khali and Umaga, in a handicap match;why do you make it a No DQ match? That only benefits the guy you are trying to stack the odds against. Kind along the lines of the "Milan Miracle". If I had to face Umaga,I would prefer a no DQ rule.

Right, but in the storyline, he DID fire Austin. Nearly two years after Austin first laid hands on him, though? Under real circumstances, wouldn't Austin have been fired when he first hit Vince? No matter how much money he made, he would've been gone.

Why aren't punches from somebody the size of the Big Show match winners?
