Anything to do with Triple H "burying" people The irony is neither his detractors or his supporters can conclusively prove or disprove this. It's not even comparable to the really fake newz stories mentioned, because in certain cases, wrestlers have claimed it's true. While others haven't. No one can really "prove" any kind of "news" story, that is the thing that makes 99% of "news" pointless. If some rumored storyline that was reported doesn't happen, then that news item was nothing but smarkbait rather than just creative changing their mind.

"In order to tie in with the Jackass guys being brought in for Summerslam, Jeff Hardy is going to be given a Prankster gimmick. Meanwhile Matt Hardy will be given a gimmick where he always loses but is still over"

99% of any news reported in 1999 was so retardedly over the top and bulls*** it wasn't even funny. At one point in time or another, everyone from WWF was gonna debut on Nitro TONIGHT!!!!! and vice versa Don't get me started on newz sites back in 97-99. It got so ridiculous, that websites were flaming other websites for stealing each other's newz, when their newz was nothing more than idle speculation that anyone could come up with while watching the product. NAO wearing suits? They joining the corporation? Hey! This site posted after I did without giving credit, they stole my story!

Well it worked for him for all of 2005 and most of 2006... ;D I kid I kid. the point is it was a blatantly stupid piece of NEWZ, made even moreso by the fact that Matt went on a 2-month winning streak at around the time the newz hit

Never happened!

A lot of these things arent "N00ZZZZZ" they are scrapped angles they said that were going to go down, but won't. Like eugene/holly/monkey. And a lot of "newz" about gimmick changes just got scrapped. Like Hardy-Prankster, Orlando-Bi. Not fake, just it didn't go down. I know a crap load of newz is fake, but not all of it. Everyone is so quick to call everything "NEWZORZ"
Seriously, probably most weren't as "confirmed" as the "newz" sites would want you to believe. Someone just probably pitched an idea, and someone leaked that to meltzer.
Oh and most of the Punk shit is fake as hell.

Jonathan Coachman was punished for botching a spot by being forced to take the wrestlers' finishers backstage.

Anyway, we agree it was when the cameras didn' t shoot anymore, right ? Anyway, if someone has a link to the original article, please post it ! It' s so much unintentional fun it hurts.

I remember reading about how Kane was confirmed to join DX and was going to use green and black in his mask and outfit.
Also, I remember a new up-and-coming stable that was confirmed to debut on RAW. It was the "Shooters" and it involved Ken Shamrock & Chris Benoit and someone else, I can't remember now.

The infamous "all-the-Divas" Playboy issue, that would have topless/full nude layouts from:
Trish Stratus Stacy Keibler Molly Holly Lita Stephanie McMahon Any other Diva in the company at the time
The intrawbez went NUTS over that, cause some schmuck posted in a forum as a "Playboy employee" that he heard this was happening. Every news site spent a week investigating the veracity of this like it was friggin' Watergate.
Jed f'n Shaffer ~And the shoot was supposed to be something like 40 pages long ... it was prepostrous.

Oh ! How could I forget "Randy Orton has a clique made of Umaga, Carlito and Rey Mysterio, and makes fun of Shawn Micheals." Yeah... a clique that can only be together at Pay per Views... sure. You could also tell the article was BS as it said that Orton liked to make fun of HBK by pretending to be talking with the other members of the "clique" and say "He' s such a moron" o something like that whenever Micheals passed by, which made HBK wonder if they were talking about him or if it was just part of their discussion. And that' d make Orton a better heel in real life than during the shows. Also, CM Punk gets heat because he doesn' t mind to lose clean to Chavo Guerrero. Heh ?

Speaking of OJ. I remember reading a report here that someone said that RVD once got so high that he thought he was a Glass Of Orange Juice. And some people even believed this was true! Yes they would believe this but won't believe that Vince Russo booked all the crap in WCW and TNA. Amazing. By the way, the Glass of Orange Juice RVD thing is apparently a variation of this urban legend, which is just as fake as a pwinsider newz article : www.snopes.com/horrors/drugs/orange.aspThe WWE burning down Jeff Hardy's home still wins it for me. Well, to be honest. It wasn' t actually posted as news, it was just an idiot who somehow got hired as a journalist, who came up with the dumbest conspiracy theory in wrestling' s history and proudly posted his idea on the website he works for.

Back in 2005, there was still 1, and I mean 1, spot left open in the Rumble the day of. People were saying either Sting, Goldberg, or Lesnar was going to be the final man. However, it turned out to be Kurt Angle via a backstage sketch.
