If it leads to Rellik on Supernatural then I'm all for it.

Would that time slot go up against SmackDown? If it is, no offense, but they are FAR from ready to even consider competing with WWE.

I can't imagine WWE keeping Smackdown on Fridays unless they're forced to.
As for TNA, it's hard to go on a network that doesn't want wrestling. And if they weren't happy with WWE's 3.0 network rating, they're sure as hell not going to care about TNA's 1.2 cable rating.

We'll be ROLLING in money! CW just does not want wrestling, period.

No, as is that's a pretty lousy timeslot even for WWE. I doubt TNA would fare a whole lot better in it.

Also, remember a big reason for the WWE doing so well was the Hispanic viewership (which was closer to a 4.0 or something like that). Off the top of my head, TNA has LAX and....well that's about it. I'm not sure they could even pull a 1 on CW.
Plus they have to obey network rules and such, so they couldn't be controversial. All in all it would be a terrible move for them. Once they start to get to 3's on spike, then we'll talk.

Controversial?
I don't get how TNA has an edgier show than Smackdown. unless of course you mean the barbed wire stuff and glass and thumbtacks.

I know on SD whenever they showed pics of blood they had to go black and white. Plus the level of in ring violence compared to TNA was low. Sorry should have made that clearer.

Keep it on Thursdays. Fridays are no good for wrestling.

Smackdown is probably the ONLY show to have survived in the so called "Friday night Death Slot"
Putting TNA in that time slot would be suicide. Plus Russo would dumb TNA down EVEN MORE!!!!!

Spike TV is the best place for TNA right now. CW pretty much wants to be a "serious" television network-i.e. they want to be a media giant like NBC or ABC. Therefore, a "low brow" program like wrestling does not fit into their target audience. Spike TV openly embraces wrestling. And right now, TNA is not financially strong enough to be ready to make a shot at another major network and end up going bust. Its better to err on the side of caution.
