Who do you think is England's Favourite son?
If Davey was still alive and these two had a match in england, who would the crowd pop for the most?

Davey Boy. He was the British equivalent to any wrestler who ever wrapped himself in the American flag for cheap pops.

Davey because he would be the face. But Regal would get a big heel reaction

I think it's fair to say that if Bulldog hadn't have been in the WWF at the time, it wouldn't be in existence in the UK. The guy practically was the WWF over here

The guy practically was the WWF over here I dunno, while he helped a whole lot, for some reason Bret Hart was HUGE over here, his popularity almost rivalled that of the Bulldog's.

It was really the whole Hulkamania thing that kicked it off over here, just as it did everywhere else. Personally I don't like Bulldog or Regal.

Bulldog, even non-wrestling fans know that guy here.

Yeah I think some of you are underestimating the power of Hulkamania in england.
Hulk Hogan is still the most likely name a casual fan will answer if you ask them to name a wrestler.

Hogan kickstarted the WWF's popularity in the UK, DBS kept it going, and then Bret and Shawn took the baton, giving it to Austin, and then taking the same path as the States.

Molotov turns heel by shattering your illusions:
-There is no Santa Claus.
-You have no chance with (insert Diva/actress/pornstar here)
-Davey Boy was actually Canadian.

-Davey Boy was actually Canadian. But he was born and raised in England and only moved to Canada later in life.

Davey Boy was beloved over here. I think if the 2 faced off, he'd out-pop Regal. Mind you in fairness, Davey was usually billed as a superhumanly strong babyface, while Regal's always been a stuck up cowardly heel. the 2 different characters mean that Bulldog will obviously be more popular, since Regal will be seen by Brits as playing up to an unfavourable british stereotype.

I prefer Regal as a entire character and actual skill in the ring. But the British Bulldog was fun to watch too.
In a match between the two I'd route for Regal.
