It was difficult to adjust to right away, but now I'm comfortable with it. I honestly don't even notice it anymore unless it's pointed out to me.
However, I will say... it's still pretty entertaining watching someone who's used to a four-sided ring just starting with the company then trying to run the ropes. Almost every time, at some point, they seem to slow or stop because they forget which rope they're supposed to logically run to.

The only reason people have a problem with the ring is because of the shoddy camera work and editing of the show.
I get really dizzy watching TNA due to their constant camera cuts.
I have no problem with the 6 sides, I have a huge problem with the damn camera men and editors

Remember when it had six sides, but only one angle? Sheesh, that always worried me. You do realize that an equalaterial hexagon only has one angle, right? It's 60 degrees. There's just six places that one angle occurs.

Honestly, I don't watch TNA much, and I don't even notice the ring.

Six sided ring combined with the Impact Zone makes TNA look like a circus sideshow and not a big time wrestling event, IMO.

I dig the six sided ring, but I do have one major problem with it, that being that most of it is WAY too close to the guardrails, and it prevents a lot of the dynamic high flying it should be helping out.

I also feel it is an immediate turn off to a casual wrestling fan, WWE fan, I know this from some of my friends who that is the first thing they do when seeing it is comment on the "stupid ring" I agree with this. 4 sided ring is what people associate with wrestling, boxing and other martial arts. I`m not saying it`s a particularly bad thing to do something different, but to me all it does is look a bit bizarre.

I think it's good in the fact it sets the apart from the WWE in a uniqueway. Also, the ring is the crucial focal point of a show.
Now if only they'd try to make other things on their show different from other promotions......

I like it, makes them stand out a bit more.

Mr. Horse! What do you think about TNA's six-sided ring?

Not a fan. Something about watching guys hit the ropes just looks off to me, and as a result, I've never really been a fan of TNA's 1 on 1 matches.

My only complaint is I feel it's a bit on the small side, gets very cramped very quickly

I don't prefer it to the four-sided ring, but it doesn't bother me at all. It was only really weird to me the first couple times I watched TNA. same here. first few times it was a weird transition having grown up on the 4 sided ring all my life. now it would be weird without it. especially in x division matches.

I don't like the 6 sided ring. Half the time it looks like a disjointed clustersmurf when people are trying to run the ropes.

I like the 4 sided ring better in WWE, WCW, ECW...pretty much every other wrestling fed besides TNA. The 6 sided ring is a great way for TNA to differentiate itself

So I guess it's been long enough it was time for this debate to pop up again? Yea, the traditional four-sided ring is definitely better.

Watched Impact the other day with a few non-wrestling fans, and one of their complaints was the six sided ring. They just thought it looked cheesy. I don't mind it, but I'm guessing non-wrestling fan's don't like it

I remember, years ago when TNA first started, they used a 4 sided ring, this was back when they cared about X-Division, it really confined the wrestlers. They even did an Ultimate X match with it and it didnt look right. The 6 sided ring was brought in specifaclly for the X-Division, but, the way theyre being treated now they might aswell go back to 4 sides.
