The six sides are ok but it's a little too small, if they expanded it like a foot or two on each side I think it would look a little better.

I hate 6 sided rings, infact im going down to mexico to demand they change the AAA ring aswell(that or its CMLL i forget which) People take things way to seriously six sides makes it different and interesting to see how they use it, if where going to bitch about tradition then we should go back to circles drawn in dirt and have to guys wearing speedo's go at it for 4 hours +.

The 6-sides definitel make the ring more spot-friendly. Now if we can get more x-division to again to take advantage of it.

I prefer the six sided cage than the regular cage also.

Isn't this debate a little played out and pointless at this point? TNA's not changing their ring anytime soon. I think it looks pretty silly, like a regular ring with two extra corners just kinda thrown in for the hell of it, but it's not going anywhere.
I guess I don't see why anyone still worries about it.

I voted for 6 for two reasons, and number 1 is that I'm used to it and it would be weird without the six sided ring now, and 2 is that if they didn't have all of those sides, the x-division wouldn't have as many sides to do those flippy moves.

i like the idea of the six sided ring, it gives tna a totally new feel compared to wwe. i noticed that on some spanish channel when i was in america that some other fed in mexico or somewhere has a six sided ring too. I think its good, it's moving wrestling forward , it allows for spots in tna that wwe can't do.

I'm just worried that with Angle's current MMA kick in full swing, he'll want it 8-sided...

Watching the 50 Greatest Moments DVD, I didn`t realise that it was only a few years ago they brought it in.
Also the DVD made me realise that it`s harder for the production guys to get the right shot at the right time. Too often in TNA the camera is looking at the wrong thing and a good piece of action is missed and I don`t think it`s helped by the 6 sided ring. I don`t think it`s caused by it either mind you, but it complicates things.

I'm still not used to it, it is different but I only find it interesting when it's six sides of steel.

It's one of the main reasons why I don't watch TNA.

nothign against the 6 sides, but the ring itself its very small compared to the wwe ring. Its like watching wcw with there small ring. I think the size limits wrestlers with the limited amount of room they have.

I am so happy to return to the board! Last night I found it pretty funny when told my friend Dillon, (Who I have been getting more and more into liking wrestling) we should watch TNA tomorrow with Ryan. His response was, "Screw that, they got a six sided ring." I just think it's funny that someone who doesn't have a lot of knowledge of TNA, already doesn't like the fact that they have a 6 sided ring. I think the 6 Sided ring could be a mistake that makes new wrestling fans not want to watch, when compared to the WWE.
