First CAW-dy Rhodes now Dibiase JR. Why must they all be so generic. Generic tights usually with lame tribal one them, all clean cut. This Dibiase looks exactly like Orton when he first debuted. Even The Smith kid is generic. Why cant they have gimmicks? Or a unique outfit?

I seem to remember what little I've seen of pre-WWF Dibiase Sr. being rather generic as well. Give Jr. time.

I spit in the face of people who say I'm generic...Seriously though, it's because they aren't willing to work on a gimmick other than cashing in on their father's fame (or what creative thinks is fame). Those that they do, are fine. But I remember when Rhodes debuted. Every promo contained the words "My father, Dusty Rhodes!"

Even The Smith kid is generic. Why cant they have gimmicks? Or a unique outfit? Well, I'd say Dibiase does. But take a look at the old photos of the Bulldogs tag team. They looked pretty generic. Often one color tights. In the ring, Cowboy Bob must have been fairly generic looking with frizzy hair like many and ordinary trunks, without his vest or hat that he'd wear to the ring.

Every second generation wrestler should have a David Flair type Titantron.

It's an interesting topic of discussion. There are a whole bunch of children and grandchildren of wrestlers in WWE right now.
Carlito - Carlos Colon Randy Orton - Bob Orton Jr./Bob Orton Sr. Umaga - Afa/Siki as uncles DH Smith - British Bulldog/Stu Hart Cody Rhodes - Dusty Rhodes Ted Dibiase Jr. - Ted Dibiase Sr./Iron Mike Dibiase Mike Dibiase - Ted Dibiase Sr./Iron Mike Dibiase (likely who's going to be brought in as a tag team partner) Natalya Neidhart - Jim Neidhart/Stu Hart Deuce - Jimmy Snuka Jesse - Terry Gordy Chavo Guerrero - Chavo Guerrero Sr/Gory Guerrero
There's probably more. Usually the 2nd or 3rd generation wrestlers end up being the best ones, because they have it in their family. Also, Mr. Perfect's kids, Amy and Joe are in developmental right now.
I think like, maybe it is better to debut guys with new characters and not focus on their family, like Carlito did, and Jesse and Deuce are doing now as well.

PWInsider has in their headline for his appearance on RAW that DiBiase is third generation. Orton is third generation as well.
WWE are probably hoping that they get over exactly as they debuted. Without a gimmick other than being someone's kid/relative.
Why?
They're lazy is my guess. Or maybe they figure if they go to the well with it enough times it'll work sooner or later.

Orton couldnt get over with that gimmick either...as bland and generic. Hell....even Cena debuted as Mr.Bland. Generic music, generic outfit. What happened to the days of vignettes hyping someone up?
Imagine if they would've had DiBiase Jr. promos living off his dads money. Driving in Bentleys, sipping champagne in a hot tub, training with the finest instructors. Don't you think this would of helped him immensly? Basically give him the Roode gimmick....better yet, make him a socialite....the male Paris Hilton.

And they made no mention of when he was going to wrestle or show up, didn't they? So maybe we'll get vignettes they just needed to beat us over the head by having Million $ Man come out and say, "This is my kid!"
