I don't know about you guys, but I'm really getting bored with the title scene on Raw. I like Cena chasing it, but when Cena chases a face like HHH, both guys gush about respecting the other, and how great their opponent is, and it's really boring the crap out of me. Ferchrissakes, guys, speak ill of your opponent. Sell a fued. Do something interesting instead of staring each other down and lifting the belt. You'd think the WWE would have learned by now that HHH will have to do a whole helluva lot to turn heel, Cena would have to bite the heads off a bushel of kittens in the middle of the ring to turn heel, and face/face buildups are boring as hell.

I miss Regal. He'd just do something outrageous that annoyed the crap out of everyone. He went beyond standard heel tactics and took it to the limit, and that made it exciting. What we are getting now is just the standard face vs face type feud.
Has to be done though, if they don't want one of them to turn heel then they have to keep them both likeable.
I can see Jericho moving up while Orton's gone at least, and he'll perhaps be able to have a good feud with Jeff, or Cena, or HHH, or HBK, or Kennedy. Give him some serious legitimacy and I think he'd make the scene good again.

I like the face vs face dynamic, but I do seem to be the only one.

I'm still trying to figure out why Kennedy isn't being pushed as hard anymore. I'd love to see a Kennedy, Jericho feud.

I like the face vs face dynamic, but I do seem to be the only one. To be honest, I wouldn't mind it either if they done a bit more with it. It just seems though like they'd do one pretty standard thing each week and that's it. If they were trying to get the better each other throughout the whole show or something, I'd like it. Hell, have HHH hit on Mickie. I do think though that by taking it as slow as they are they are doing this patiently because they want it to go a few months. Cena/Orton started off with a simple thing each week then moved onto something more personal, so perhaps this will too, and we are just going to have to wait for it.

What's been wrong with it? He was doing fine with Regal and now ha to contend with Burchil who's highest profile victory has been over Super Crazy. The only reason he isnt being pushed as hard as he was is because there's simply no where to put him. There's no heel higher up the card for him to face.

Cena vs HHH has potentional of drawing a huge PPV buy. Thats why I find it so stupid how they are throwing this match away in a B PPV. They should of just heavily built this up for Summerslam. They should build up to HBK vs Cena III at Summerslam. That would be pretty huge.

It ended in a screwjob finish. I'm sure if they had a PPV ME it would be built as the rubber match.

Join the club.
I've been bored with the title scene on all the shows for at least 5 years.

The second that HHH stated that "its never been personal between us", I lost interest.
Hopefully Cena will win the title and they'll, you know, actually do something with these two.

I actually like the Cena/HHH feud and I hate Cena. This is the first time he has actually acted like a normal human being and is not going out and telling dumb jokes or otherwise ruining things. This is what a feud should be - two of the biggest names in wrestling that both think they are the best and want to prove it in the ring. That's the kind of stuff I like.
Sometimes you don't need anything outlandish to have a big title match - just the impression that both guys want to win badly. That's how they built up the Michaels/Hart Ironman match and it was great.
As a counterexample, look at what TNA did with Angle/Sting. Here you have two of the biggest names in wrestling facing off for the first time. A WWE vs WCW dream match. So how do they build this up? They have Angle put on a suit and go stalk Sting's son at a high school football game. Just horrible.
Sometimes you need that kind of stuff, sometimes you don't. I think HHH/Cena actually is being setup very well right now and I usually have zero expectations for anything with Cena in it.

The second you start bringing in off-screen characters to further a feud is when you know it's not that hot. I still think they can do something more with Cena and HHH though. For all I know they still can. This could go on to GAB and they may just be being patient. I think if you play up the Mickie connection with Cena, then have HHH hit on Mickie to play some mind games or something, that can still be ok. It can still be about who's best, but then HHH can say 'What's more important to ya - 'Champ?'' at which point Cena can realise it's all about the title. Involving someone who's actually a known character and who the audience has an investment in wouldn't be too bad. I still think you can do face/face, have it all about respect, but just go to the extreme when doing it. Make it outlandish, larger than life, and push the limits. Matt/MVP essentially pushed the limits in their feud. It was about who was better, but they kept going so far to prove it. If MVP didn't cheat it could easily have been used as a vehicle to further a face/face program. Just tip-toeing around each other though, saying 'I respect you but I want your title' will get boring quickly. I hope, and believe, that they won't be relying on that week after week however.

I think they are going to be one and done because I don't understand the rationale for having this huge match on a second-tier PPV unless they want to get it out of the way because one of them is getting drafted over to Smackdown. I think HHH wins clean and Cena goes to Smackdown the next night.

Hopefully not with a pedigree, because I think that they want Cena and HHH to be tied 1-1 and a straight pin to retain would give HHH too much momentum in the feud.

I'd bet every penny I have Cena isn't going to Smackdown. I would be surprised too but if you think about it he is a better fit over there. First of all as their most publicly exposed guy it makes sense to have him on national tv as opposed to cable. They may also want him over there as an easier way to promote the network change that is happening in October. Also, Cena's demographic is more in tune with the Smackdown audience than the Raw audience. More kids and casual fans watch Smackdown than Raw and that is Cena's base. Finally, if they want to go back to pushing him as a top face and not as this pseudo-face who acknowledges getting booed by lots of fans type guy, then it would be easier to do on Smackdown where editing can cover things like the booing up. So I think that logistically he's a better fit on Smackdown but in the end probably won't end up there because Raw is the "flagship".

While what you said makes sense in a vaccum personally I think what makes Cena so great, and what makes his appearances so special is the vocal minority booing and I wouldn't want that covered up by editing, and I don't think the WWE would either. Raw is the flagship Cena is the cash cow He's not going anywhere.
