What did you think of his WWF run back in the day?

I remember next to nothing about it, which in itself speaks pretty loudly.

Me neither. I know he had blond dreds, tatoos, eyes heavily lined, and a shopping cart full of items. That was all I remember.

Only memorable moments per se was right before the Alliance formed in his WM 17 match against Kane & Big Show, as well as the awesome match against Rhyno in Backlash '01.

He did a lot of hardcore 24/7 type stuff. I think I remember his last match was him jobbing to Jeff Hardy on Raw. Also, I think he called Heat his playground and did some commentary there. It certainly was not as good as his ECW, WCW, or TNA runs, though I believe technically no other wrestler in WWE has won a WWE title as many times as Raven has (all his title wins were winning the Hardcore title).

It sucked, and he should have by all rights been used more than he was. This was a guy that had the potential to be the second coming of Jake Roberts, and the WWF just totally fumbled the ball on him.

words cant describe how misused he was, the guy was a vet when he entered wwe and was show opener for his whole tenue....
after ecw and wcw i would have at least expected a strong IC title run and pushed right i could imagine him to reach Edge circa 2002 heights

Me neither. I know he had blond dreds, tatoos, eyes heavily lined, and a shopping cart full of items. That was all I remember. I thought his look was quite good in WWE but he should have been pushed more and had proper storylines.

I thought his 24/7 bits were entertaining, but he was still underused compared to ECW/WCW.

So completely misused in every way. He's one of my favourite wrestlers of all time, and he's seriously one of the best in his style. He's done so much legendary stuff in his time and his WWE stint was just...so bad.

Was misused. He was getting huge pops, people were chanting his name and yet he wasn't given much to do.

"Who the f*** hired Raven?" - Vince McMahon at a creative meeting when Raven's name was brought up.
That sums it up

There was so many potentional good feuds for Raven in the WWF. Edge (when he was face), Angle, HHH, Big Show, Jericho, Austin, Kane, Jeff Hardy. Plus it would been so cool to have Raven team up with American Badass heel Taker.

Let's evaluate one segment to see what WWE thinks of Raven:
Back around Backlash 2001...Raven was going to wrestle Matt Hardy for the European title after pretty much meddling around the Hardcore Division for a while, and establishing a name for himself.
And how does WWE hype up this push in the card? By having a backstage segment in which Edge and Christian goaded Commissioner Regal into taking Raven out of the match, and putting Christian in..instead putting Raven in a hardcore title match against then-champ Rhyno because "it's his thing."
Seriously..as if that wasn't bad enough, Raven's still the only guy in WWE history since the brand extension to lose a "Loser Leaves [Enter Show] Match" and not actually appear on the other brand..he was Heat-exclusive. Wow.

Love Raven and all... But, after ECW and WCW. It was been there done that seen that TWICE now. Was he misused sure kinda. But, look at the roster. It was pretty good at the time. And I'm sure Raven didn't complain too much when they were sending him his checks.
Where they really misused him at was announcing. They should have kept him on as a full time color guy. Oh well...

Where they really misused him at was announcing. They should have kept him on as a full time color guy. Oh well... It was his choice...he wanted to continue being an active wrestler, though he was offered a Tazz-like position. Honestly, I'm still holding out hope that Raven comes back to WWE now and does the color commentator gig...he recently came on record and said that he would never work in WWE, but it's not like many people actually resist those shiny checks from Vince McMahon.
