No, there isn't a poll attached to this, I keep getting a "you have been banned" message for some reason.
But nevertheless, we press on.
How would you all feel about the former "most hated band in the world"* rollin' rollin' rollin' into pop immortality?
*Now I think it's Panic at the Disco, and IMO they don't deserve it. I like "Nine in the Afternoon".

I'll admit I enjoy a few of their songs.
But..no.
No way.

That would be a complete disgrace to rock n roll music.

That would be a complete disgrace to rock n roll music. The Rock n Roll hall of fame has little to do with the genre of music it's named after. It's more just a name for the hall rather than what music it represents. That said,, no I still wouldn't vote them in personally, not because I dislike them or anything but rather because how forgettable the band has become. In another 7 years unless something big happens again with these guys I think they'll be mostly forgotten.

They won't be eligible for what, another 12 or 15 years?
I don't think we have to worry too much, though.

Ha ha ha...no.
I wouldn't be surprise if the HOF does it though. Madonna is in but no Carol Kane? Once again I ask why no Carol Kane dammit?

Hall Of Fame???!?!?!?! There's no way in hell tunes like Rolling, Nookie and a George Michael cover should get you in there. They were mad popular and now they're mad not in existence and I for one could not be happier. If they're in, every dumb band that snows the kids should be as well. (although LB had a good run. Not a HOF run, but a good one)

No, no, a thousand times no. Tim Commerford will never get out of those furry Trabant cars if that happens.

Didn't they have a song where they just listed all the names of US cities they toured?
They deserve nothing.

No. Anybody who rhymes "here" with "here" doesn't deserve to go in on that laziness alone. For that matter, all graduates of the Fred Durst School of Lazy-Assed Rhyming (Kid Rock, this means you) shouldn't get in either.

I would say he is a way better MC than Fred Durst ever wishes he could have been. Kid Rock was rhyming and beboping a while before Limp Bizkit came around.

I meant for his abomination of a song "All Summer Long", where he lazily mashes together "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Werewolves of London" so he can sing about Michigan, and rhyme "things" with "things"

Oh okay. Can't say that I've actually heard that song. Anything after his album "Cocky", I stopped listening to.
