He's in love with that brain in a jar. Seriously. So......does that mean they're gay? It would seem so.

I especially think Monsieur Mallah is useless. Yeah ,he's strong, but his entire purpose is "protecting the brain in a jar". He's in love with that brain in a jar. Seriously. Yeah, I remember reading that and thinking how weird it was that, of all the characters in the DC universe, they decided to make the talking gorilla and the brain in a jar gay.

Well, they had to do it to somebody. They just should've done it to somebody who...ya know...mattered. Like, you know who would be hilarious to find out was gay? Superboy-Prime.

I kind of like the Rogues and New Rogues from The Flash. Abra Kadabra and Double Down are awesome.

During Salvation Run they died embracing while talking about how much they love each other. Grodd Did beat him to death with the brain.

Ha, so i was watching Justice League: The New Frontier today and Flash had a great line where he was doubting his powers and said "All I do is chase after jewel thieves and talking Gorillas". Found that quite amusing given what's being discussed in this thread.

Yeah, that's the rub. DC Heroes rule, but their villians suck, and Marvel's heroes suck, but their villians rule. Now, there are exceptions (Darksied, Batman's Rouges) but for the most part, you have cosmic enities like the Flash and Superman taking on guys with funny costumes, and you have guys like Dr. Doom and Galaticus, beings who stand among the universal elite losing to some scientist and his family. Pffft. Marvel's heroes do not suck in my eyes. A few of them are pretty bland to me (Daredevil, Elektra, and maybe Moon Knight) but come on. Spider-Man, Deadpool, The X-Men and even the Fantastic Four are pretty sweet. For my money, DC Comics has a lot of weak heroes with the exception of the Batman universe. Smurf, I sound like a nerd here.

Have you ever read Moon Knight? He may be the most interesting guy in Marvel. He is a psychopath who has believed he worked for a god. He has also believed he had super powers when he didn't.
Oh and he cut of a guys face and wore it as a mask. He still has it.

No kidding? Maybe I'll have to read more of his stuff then. If you get the current series...yeah it is kinda slow until the new writer took over, but it was disturbing and entertaining.

How many do I get for telling you that (if you didn't already know) Deadpool's (possibly) gonna be in the Wolverine movie?

I have the first 2 trades and they're awesome. for that matter, anybody know how good Thunderbolts has been since Ellis took over? I got the 3 New Thunderbolts trades and the Civil War trade and I really dug them, and Ellis is one of my favorite writers.

Grant Morrison doing something weird that sounds, at least on paper, to be the result of using way too many drugs comes with the territory. and would anybody be surprised if Superman-Prime turned out to be gay? he's basically the anthropomorphic personification of Silver Age fan boy fethishist, and you all know what my theory is about them

So yeah the beginning of the series I would give a c+, this I would give a B or better.

I really liked the first 2 trades, but I agree about the pacing being brutal. the first issue was really fast but it took a while for much else to happen.
