The stories are still brutal and creepy, but the pacing is so much better. So yeah the beginning of the series I would give a c+, this I would give a B or better. I'm assuming you're talking about Moon Knight then. good to know. I really liked the first 2 trades, but I agree about the pacing being brutal. the first issue was really fast but it took a while for much else to happen. Yeah and the new writer has picked it up. Huston is still consulting though, so his vision is there, it is just more well put together and balanced. Art kinda sucks though, it is hard to tell any one apart. Covers are swank however.

yeah that's the one thing I'm not crazy about. David Finch's art was perfect for a title like Moon Knight.

Finch was insane. He just had problems keeping on Schedule, but so did Charlie.

yeah but I guess that's the rule when it comes to artists with distinctive styles, they're all unreliable hell look at Frank Quitely's run on New X-men or Frank Cho basically getting kicked off Mighty Avengers for being the reason it got delayed by 3 months and totally killing the timing of the Venom Bomb stuff that Mark Bagley had to do in a hurry.

Very true. Bagley though, dude is a freak of nature, he does a lot, fast, and it looks good.

for that matter, anybody know how good Thunderbolts has been since Ellis took over? I got the 3 New Thunderbolts trades and the Civil War trade and I really dug them, and Ellis is one of my favorite writers. Ellis has completely amazed me with his T-Bolts run. When it was first announced he was replacing Fabian as writer on the book, I, as a fan, was pissed because - nothing against Ellis - I was a huge FabNic fan. Ellis' T-Bolts is NOTHING like any previous T-Bolts. It's also one of the coolest books out there and the way he utilized D-grade heroes as supporting players (Jack Flag, Doc Samson and most especially American Eagle) was nothing short of outstanding. Get his first arc - Faith in Monsters, it's a damned good read.

So I was watching Justice League and what do I see, another cold villain by the name of Doctor Blizzard. Sure it was an alternate reality, but it seems even in other dimensions DC heroes can;t escape their chilly foes.

Dr. blizzard was an analogue of Icicle, who they still wanted to use in the Justice League's world. same reason that they made up the "Justice Guild" instead of using the Justice Society of America *cue "the More you Know Rainbow* for that matter, anybody know how good Thunderbolts has been since Ellis took over? I was going to pick up the last Nizcieza book and the first Ellis one this week from Amazon.
