so where was nash to help joe and is sting heel You would think Sting would be heel for interfering in the main vent and beating the face with a baseball bat. You would be wrong. This is TNA. Sting was trying to calm down Joe. Joe gave Sting the finger. So Sting hit him with the bat. Giving joe the finger in his own way. Don't forget Joe left Sting hanging a couple years ago after a tag match against Stiener and Jarrett. They should use that in this story line.

If I'd payed to watch that PPV I'd be pretty annoyed at the pathetic excuse for an ending, but I didn't so I can just laugh at TNA and their crazy obsession with sabotaging themselves at every turn. I DID pay for it, and for two hours and about fifty minutes, I got my money's worth. Getting lost in all of this is that Victory Road wasn't just an ok show, it was a VERY good one. I just wish like hell they hadn't left me all confused at the end. If nothing else, though, I do want to watch on Thursday; they can make up a lot for this if they actually ANSWER the questions they left hanging.

He was in the middle of trying to win a wrestling match. That was the annoying part. If Joe had simply been brutalizing Booker more than they showed, or if Booker sold a fake injury, like, say, hurting his knee, and Joe spent the next couple minutes locking his knee in a submission or whatever, then it would've made sense to have people down there. It could've been done pretty easily.

Joe goes for it, and not very convincingly, and suddenly, all hell breaks loose. I was confused, as well. At least the Ultimate X match was entertaining.

You know, this angle may have worked a lot better if they hadn't been teasing a Sting return for the weeks leading up to the PPV, or at least teased it better than actually playing his entrance music and showing him in the rafters. I guess that's really not a tease, is it? Well, it could be a TNA tease. And by "tease", I mean "total confusion". So, is this a trademark Russo finish? Somebody needs to tell him that confusing the audience just pisses people off now.

Wow I love all these people who didnt watch the show (with WWE pics in their sigs) attacking the main event.
IF YOU READ A SPOILER, IT IS NOT WATCHING THE MATCH.
The main problem with the finish was that Samoa Joe didnt do anything out of the ordinary and suddenly everyone flipped out. I hated that. He was simply beating Booker T, then Booker knocks out the ref, then suddenly everyone freaked out on Samoa Joe. They should have had Samoa Joe hit him with like 5 chair shots or something else, otherwise he was just beating his opponent.
But before all you pathetic WWE marks and "I'm too indie to like TV wrestling" types attack the main event, how about actually watching it. The first poster did watch it and I can respect his opinion, because I myself think CHIKARA is a joke of a promotion, but he enjoys it. Thats cool. But if you read some internet nerds opinion and decided this is typical WCW or TNA crap, you're beyond wrong. Because Victory Road was amazing and the Main Event had it's issues, but it was still pretty interesting. Alot more interesting then one guy just going over the other guy. It built a growth to the Joe-Booker feud, it created a Sting-Joe feud, and it attempted (although not well enough) to make Joe a badass.
So just please watch WWE or CHIKARA, and dont come in here commenting on something you read about and didnt see.

But a toodarkmark post about a crap finish that doesn't involve "Fire Russo"? You're SLIPPING!

This thread is getting far too silly! Cease aforementioned silliness at once, until the ambiguous ending of Victory Road is explained on Thursday. That will be all.

The crowd was totally no selling it, what happened wasn't logical, and I just have no idea what the hell was going on. I'd say the people who called it ridiculous are totally justified.
