Well the only thing I can really add to this is my experiences. Up until i was 18 I was always chunky and had a gut. No woman would even give me the time of day. Then I went off to basic training and came back with the beginnings of a six pack. Oh amazing all the sudden I was beating them off with a stick. I then got lazy and got my damn gut back and they all were gone again. I got sick of being out of shape and hit the gym again. Again came the hell of a lot better body and oh wow what do you know here come the women again. I went to back to school so had ot lay off the gym and damn if the stomach didn't come back and the women left again. Now I am no dectective or anything here but I'm pretty sure there is a pattern. ok sorry for the long winded post. Also I can say the times I was in better shape I felt so much better and had so much energy and let me tell you the bedroom activities were a hell of a lot better also. Just some food for thought.

You'd think about the fuss you hear today about obese children and adults, and the declining health of Americans in general, that people wouldn't be shallow like that anymore. If everyone's getting bigger, aren't they the ones who don't conform to the norm? Honestly, I hate skinny people. If I want to cuddle, I want to cuddle with a girl, not a pelvic bone. I'd hate to come off sounding...whatever, but this is what I hate. I'm naturally thin and shouldn't be made to feel bad about myself in an attempt to be more accepting of people who aren't. Yeah how come calling colleagues a "fat bitch" is (rightly) unacceptable but management can call me a skinny bastard and it's just fine and dandy. If only a lawsuit for being discriminated against for being young ("what's he know he's just a kid" is a dumb move when I was the only person who could do the job) and skinny was likely to succeed.

Exactly. I mean, it's great that you're not being a jerk to someone who's heavier set but that doesn't mean it's okay to slam "skinny" (i hate that word...it implies I have no shape) people. It's just as wrong saying mean things about someone who's thin as it is someone who's not. It IS possible to be nice to both kinds of body types.

ok so i looked at your myspace pictures (just because i wanted to see what you looked like...for conversation sake)....two things : 1. you're not "fat" 2. you're cute.People need to shut the smurf up about people's appearances. Not to rag on you here, man, but that's an attitude I dislike. Why must "fat" & "cute" be two mutually exclusive concepts? Isn't it possible to be both? I, personally, feel that it'd be insulting to tell a friend of mine who is well over 300lbs that she's "not fat". She's a beautiful woman, absolutely, she also happens to be fat, she's also very tall. Thing is the word "fat" has taken on a negative connotation as opposed to merely being an adjective, it is also now hurled as an insult. I prefer to use it simply as a descriptive word. Was my last girlfriend fat? Yes. Was she also hot? Yes. The two concepts need not be radically different. Just wanted to throw that out there.
