"Antione got a little HOT under the collar. Hehehehehe...!" On par with Ledger's pencil trick and more creepy. Nothing beats Jack's Joker talking to the burnt corpse.

i just wanna know how they persuaded the fake dollar bill to pap itself on top of jacks hat at the parade??? i'm STILL amazed that happened saw it on the first saturday midnight screening after the uk release, and saw it a further three times in the cinema ..... then rented the rental vhs and COPIED it ..... THEN bought the fullscreen vhs ..... THEN bought the WIDESCREEN vhs ..... THEN bought the 2disker dvd (along with the other three 2diskers) got the comic adaption, had a cheapo t-shirt with the batlogo on it (now torn and useless) AND have BOTH soundtracks on tape ..... pity they didn't make it in 2.35x2 format, would LOVE to see that!!!

Hah, awesome. I used to rewind the VHS version of this and watch this scene over and over again as a kid. I was an odd child. Do you remember the Diet Coke commercial at the beginning of the tape? Actually, it was a version that was taped from TV.

Actually, it was a version that was taped from TV. You are in luck! [/Lloyd Christmas] I never realized just how cheesy the marketing campaign for the first movie was until now. I mean, I'm not saying some of the marketing for The Dark Knight wasn't cheesy, but I dunno, it's just cheesy. (Kudos for anyone who can find the Batman McDonald's Commercials ;D)

Yes. I thought I recognized that quote from Batman. I actually recently watched it a few days ago too. EDIT: I found both Jokers to be good in their own ways, however with Jack, I really think he is insane. His Joker laugh after the surgery, and his talk with the toasted corpse are both just maniacal and hilarious at the same time. I love that more than the TDK Joker. Hah, awesome. I used to rewind the VHS version of this and watch this scene over and over again as a kid. I was an odd child. Was?

I find the Ledger Joker more impressive because, as awesome as the Nicholson Joker was, it was pretty much just Jack being Jack. Ledger took a role he's never even remotely been close to playing and lost himself in it. He became The Joker and silenced critics and naysayers Worldwide. I honestly think it was the greatest acting performance I've seen.

I also believe that if I saw Jack's Joker I would be mildly amused if a little frightened. Ledger's Joker made me s*** myself.

The only thing missing from Ledger's Joker in that respect was, you know, actually telling jokes. True, it took the whole book for him to get to one in THE KILLING JOKE, but he told one at least. But, that's a minor complaint in a sea of goodness.
