WHy the hell is that an urgent question? I'm watching it right now and Stefan just called to tell Laura he couldn't make it to the New Edition concert. I totally didn't remember Steve and Stefan becoming two different people.

Ya it happened towards the end few seasons. It's... ass. He made a cloning machine and put it down near his transforming machine. Eventually it dawned on him to make a clone and have him permanently live as Stephan.

I don't remember either of those inventions. Thankfully. I REALLY loved the show until it started getting bonkers like this.

Didn't the show end with Laura dating Steve? And Stefan... I have no idea what he went on to do.
Things really got batcrap crazy on that show. When did he make the cop robot?

I watched the gun episode the other night where kids were packing and selling guns for protection at school. It was a serious matter the show handled well, but I couldn't help imagining Steve shooting that girl hassling Laura and screech "Did I do That?" and then go into his deep natural voice and yell "BITCH!"

The last season (which was on CBS since ABC canceled it) featured Laura finally falling for Steve. After the two got engaged, Steve was hired by NASA to go into space and test out one of his inventions. He honest-to-God saved the world in the last episode.
They were going to have a Steve/Laura wedding end the series, but the show was canceled just before that could happen. Half the cast didn't realize this until they got to the stage and witnessed their decade-old set dismembered and in ruins.

Steve and his clone kept fighting with each other, and the only way to stop it was to have the clone become Stephan.

Watch the first season of Family Matters and then the last one. It's almost comical how different it is.
The last few seasons were unwatchable, and I loved the show growing up. The first 3 or so seasons were great, but then it went into a tailspin.

Did they ever explain the disappearing family members? I am still trying to figure out where the youngest daughter and the Aunt went.
