Not to change the subject, but if Steve was really smart he would have come up with a way to have a three way with both Laura and Myra. I'm just saying. If Steve was really smart he would have forgotten all about Laura, and embraced Myra 100%. She was 9000x hotter then Laura. Yeah but she had issues. Remember when Steve broke up with her for good after she started stalking him? She hired Johnnie Cochran on him. How are you gonna sue ME after you just threatened my family?

When this show tried to tackle "important" issues it was the worst programming in television history. And Im including public access shows.

My all time favorite episode was the one in which Eddie, Waldo, & weasel sneak into Tracy Spencers Hotel in the effort to get concert tickets.
Also in that episode Carl tries to find out whats in Harriettes diary.
Easily the best of the bunch imo

I watched the gun episode the other night where kids were packing and selling guns for protection at school. It was a serious matter the show handled well, but I couldn't help imagining Steve shooting that girl hassling Laura and screech "Did I do That?" and then go into his deep natural voice and yell "BITCH!" I am literally laughing out loud. Good one, dude. I have no idea what possessed me to waste my time and click on this thread, since I hate Family Matters for the most part, but I see now that it was the "good kind" of possession.

Ya it happened towards the end few seasons. It's... ass. He made a cloning machine and put it down near his transforming machine. Eventually it dawned on him to make a clone and have him permanently live as Stephan. I remember them ripping off Honey I Shrunk the Kids and then going back in time on a pirate ship. A pirate ship? Really? I must of missed that one.

I admit, I like Steve and his Bruce Juice. The one where he and Carl become Bruce was very funny to me.

Wasn't there an episode when Urkel was on speed? I think I know the one your talking about and it was Laura's diet pills. Hilarity ensued!

Wait.....I just went to Wikipedia (may have been my first mistake) and apparently Family Matters is a spinoff of Perfect Strangers?
I was young at the time, so my memory may be hazy, but how did Urkel fit in with Cousin Larry and Balki? Was it the sheep? How does one go from Perfect Strangers to Family Matters logically?
Although Urkel on Full House I do remember vividly.....

Urkel was not involved, as he want even an intended star for FM at the beginning

Anyone else notice during the episode where The Dragons Gang trashed Rachels Place, the guy who played the leader of the Dragons in later seasons played Laura's boyfriend Curtis.

Yeah it's hard to believe that Family Matters was originally a spin off of Perfect Strangers.
The show started off fine but after season 3 it just changed so much.

Family Matters was a guilty pleasure of mine as a kid. I really did enjoy the Bruce Urkel episodes (Well, that's because I'm a huge Bruce Lee fan) but I do agree that the show went off the deep end during the last two seasons. Hell, they changed Harriettes during the final season!
And if you want to know what happened with the missing little sister? She apparently snuck out of the Winslow house and did porno.

It was all downhill from "The Urkel Dance" Well how do you go up from there? And to be fair to Steve, Myra was a psychopathic stalker who had serious issues. I think he was crying out for help, wanting to be away from her but didn't dare officially break it off.
