Im still upset about this trend of releasing both barebones AND special editions, and the SEs costing more. Not to mention, when they do go down in price, its the barebonbes one that goes down in price, NOT the SE.

It's just a way to stick it to those of us who actually care enough about the film to want to watch the documentaries and what not.

I don't really see the need for digital copy. I don't wanna watch a movie on an iPod ever. I got the 2-Disc special edition of Nightmare Before Christmas, and I'm please to report that it actually is a 2-disc special edition. The advertised digital copy is on a third disc, but disc one is the movie and some special features, and disc two is more special features. *thumbs up*

The BBC are the worst when it comes to DVDs. Especially when it comes to Dr Who
They charge AU$32 for a DVD (One disc) with only 3 smurfing episodes on it. Now compare that with these DVDs released by different companies:
(Research done at Ebay and all prices in Australian)
Angel The Complete First Season: Six Disc - $32.95 Deadwood Complete First Season: Four Disc - $29.95 Robot Chicken Complete First Season: Two Disc - $19.95
Now just to confirm here is how much a four episode set of Dr Who cost:
Dr Who Series 4 Vol 2 (4 episodes) - One Disc - $33.99
BBC biggest rip off merchants ever.
