Related Content this week’s WWE Mobile on AT&T exclusive video, Jeff Hardy spoke about his match against United States Champion Shelton Benjamin and the aftermath involving Montel Vontavious Porter. Since Hardy won the match by disqualification, he didn’t win the Gold Standard’s title, but with just two days until SummerSlam, the Swanton Bomber had plenty to say about his pay-per-view opponent, MVP.

I think it would have been bigger if he had've suffered a broken neck. It seems too low key for something like that.

I could see it having happened during the blown spot with Shelton right before MVP threw Hardy off the ropes.
But after a broken neck, I don't think he would have been able to walk out of the ring and down the aisle as easily as he did.

IF this actually happened, it would be on WWE.com in 7 different articles by now.
They would probably have a live feed to his surgery on the website. And you could vote in a poll to tell the doctor which vertebrae he should fuse to the broken one.

They might be waiting to do something to make it look as though MVP broke his neck at SummerSlam, and then announce it.

It's a bit like how Benoit really broke his neck in TLC 3, then WWE passed it off as Austin breaking it at KOTR 01.

The WWE has had to many neck injuries for them to do something like put him in a match. Especially when Jeff's offense is potentially dangerous spts and his opponent specializes in kicks to the head.
And by the way I predict MVP gets the win to move him closer to the world title picture.

I read this right after watching his disc on the Hardyz DVD.
"I've been taking all these risks and I'm sorta just waiting for a big injury but it hasn't come."
That would be terrible if he reall suffered a broken neck.

Holy smurf. Hopefully he gets better soon. And now Smackdow has lost Kennedy, Umaga and Jeff Hardy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Miz and Morrison get moved to Smackdown to help this situation out. I didnt get the memo on that but what happened to Umaga? I've been wondering where he went.

Apparently the whole "he broke his neck" thing was what WWE officials told fans at Best Buy when they found out that Jeff wasn't there. I'd have walked right past them, my eyes fixed on Mickie.

Man, I haven't heard about neck injuries in awhile, the last one I remember was Gregory Helms. I really hope Jeff is ok, and he doesn't have a broken freakin neck.

The thought of a broken neck makes me think of somebody being confined to a wheel chair. I dunno how somebody could wrestle with one. Kurt had to have been drugged out of his mind at the olympics if that really was true.

Kurt had to have been drugged out of his mind at the olympics if that really was true. If I remember right, while Kurt suffered what was technically a broken (freakin') neck, it wasn't the same injury that most people think of when they think "broken neck", that being the paralyze you/confine you to a wheelchair for the rest of your life type. Which doesn't make Kurt's Olympic win, or his career, any less impressive, mind you.

I don't know if an elbow problem would keep him out of a signing session though. It would if he was busy visiting the doctor. *edit:typo*
