If Hardy did break his neck, it was probably on one of those Swantons he did - I guess we'll know more after his match against MVP tomorrow night.

I hope it isn't a broken neck. I have really enjoyed Jeff's work since he came back to WWE and I would hate to see another setback, not to mention I wouldn't wish a broken neck on anyone.

Jeez I hope not. I was looking forward to seeing Jeff get his momentum back and get a world title before the end of the year.
If he has then he is in my prayers, that is a horrific injury and WWE will feel it too, especially with all the recent releases.

in before all the "wellness-policy failure cover-up" statements.
In seriousness I hope he's ok and that he didn't have a broken (freakin') neck, and that he was just out due to the elbow thing.

I don't know if an elbow problem would keep him out of a signing session though.

Yep, I would've thought he would be booked to win that match as part of his feel good push going right up to Wrestlemania - continuing to move up the ladder to title shots. But if he's hurt bad enough that he needs time out they might have to change the finish and make it a quick match. Hardy would then hopefully return at some point later and finally gain his revenge on MVP.

Holy shit, If I ever think to myself that 2008 has been a shitty year, I'll just think of Jeff Hardy and be glad that at least it was not as bad as his.

*Please don't be a broken neck!* in before all the "wellness-policy failure cover-up" statements. *Or that.* What a terrible streak of luck for him this year. I was really looking forward to his match with MVP, too.

Well, on the bright side, if he is injured he could always get a nice ME return push.

I don't know if an elbow problem would keep him out of a signing session though. What if it were his writing arm? Ok I know that's a bad explanation and I realize I missed that part of the article

Holy f***. Hopefully he gets better soon.
And now Smackdow has lost Kennedy, Umaga and Jeff Hardy. I wouldn't be surprised to see Miz and Morrison get moved to Smackdown to help this situation out.

I think it would have been bigger if he had've suffered a broken neck. It seems too low key for something like that.

If it was definitely a broken neck, it would have been a breaking news story with a Dave & Bryan audio update. As it's just speculation at the moment, it's second in the news behind Edge being cut out of SmackDown in the UK.

I don't know if an elbow problem would keep him out of a signing session though. Depends which hand/side he signs with.

I know I called for him to be fired and said he was a drug-addled waste of space and various things, but I would never wish a broken neck on him and really enjoy his work in spite of my feelings towards his professionalism. I hope this isn't true.
