Since Foley is at TNA now, do you think WWE will erase him of all images on WWE? Example, the opening clips, and also DVDs, and never mentioning his name ever again? They have done this with Lesnar, Angle, and anyone else that has jump ship to TNA. It's pretty much Foley giving the finger to Vince since he joined TNA. He will probably never be in the Hall of Fame now.

They havent really erased Angle or Lesnar from anything. But I dont think they have any intention of promoting the guys WHILE they're currently active with another organization

He pretty much pulled a Macho Man on Vince, and now he ruined his chances.

He pretty much pulled a Macho Man on Vince, and now he ruined his chances. Its the WWE Hall of Fame... its not an honor like most Hall of Fames, Im sure he'd get over it. That being said, he'll be at TNA for awhile, leave and someday WWE will want to put out another Mick Foley DVD and he'll miracuslously join the HOF that year.

I don't think it would be wise for them to start talking about Foley, seeing as he's with their competition.
That's the way it was handled when WCW was around for the wrestlers to jump ship to.

He pretty much ruined his career, he made a big mistake jumping ship. Vince will never forgive him now.

If you look at it realistically theres no criteria for anyone being included or excluded. Bob Orton is in, and he won 1 match in the WWF, Bruno Sammartino held the WWF title fro 11 of its first 15 years and isnt in. Politics play too big a part, and acheivement doesnt. Maybe someone considers it an honor to be there, but its more of a joke than anything.

Beniot is the only one who has been erased from history by the WWE.
The other examples like Lesnar and Angle, they just don't go out of the way to mention them, but it is not the same as Beniot.

Well, don't see Foley showing up at catering dinner parties that Vince puts on during Wrestlemania. Most likely you will see Foley at a Dairy Queen with Cornette getting some ice cream. What a shame too when you can be styling and profiling rather than sitting in a cheesey movie studio.

Maybe someone considers it an honor to be there, but its more of a joke than anything. All HoF's are political. That's why there are people in the baseball HoF that the election committee admitted didn't have HoF careers. Some got in because a former teammate was a Cooperstown bigwig. As for criteria/achievement, it's a fixed event. There's no real competition. Realistically, championships are nothing but props. They don't mean jack because the people who held them didn't compete for them. The bookers backstage gave them the championships based on whatever factors they decide. You can't judge achievement when there isn't any real competition. Too much politics in the WWE HoF? Most of the wrestling business is politics, champ. CM Punk didn't win the championship, he was given it by the bookers. The HoF isn't kayfabe, so achievement doesn't matter. Even if it did, no HoF has set criteria. They make their own judgment calls all the time. Sammartino turned them down. In the US, last I checked, you can't use a living person's image for commercial purposes without their consent (and yes, it is part of the draw of Wrestlemania). If they did induct him without their consent, people would bitch about that. The WWE HOF also hasn't even been around for a decade, they're not going to induct everyone who deserves to be in immediately. They wouldn't have anyone else to put in afterwards. The potential inductee pool is a lot smaller then in most other things. If the performers think it's a big deal, random people on the internet don't suddenly trump them.

WWE/F hall of fame has been around since 93' 15 years by my count. Although there weren't inductions every year.
