It was a great, great match. I just wish it had a decisive finish.

I think Foley said it was his favorite match on 'Greatest Hits and Misses.'

A top 5 Foley match IMO, up there with the Sting match, Him and Payne against The Nasty Boys and his excellent match with Orton.

One of Foley's best matches ever. The non-finish hurts it though, as does the fact that it had very little build going in and there was no follow up.

Foley said this was his favorite match of all time but recently I think he replaced it with his Orton bout at Backlash. I remember watching this live (it was one of the few PPVs I got to see live growing) and marking the f*** out when Shawn did that flying kick. Obviously ECW and Sabu inspired.

Absolutely stellar match. My favorite WWF/E match of all time.

As good as this match was, imagine what a Cactus Jack and HBK Street Fight would have been.

As good as this match was, imagine what a Cactus Jack and HBK Street Fight would have been. Umm, pretty much the same thing.

Great, great match. Both guys were just clicking that night. My favorite Foley match and my second "obscure WWF PPV match" behind Canadian Stampede's Hart Foundation vs. Austin, LOD, Shamrock & Goldust.

The finish kept this match from being an all-time great, in my opinion.
I also loved all of the random pro-WCW signs in the crowd.

Foley's downgraded this to his second favourite match now - his favourite match was Backlash 2004 with Orton.

I adore absolutely everything about this match besides the finish.
But hey, that was the In Your House PPVs for you.

I made a post six months ro so about this about how people rated this match. I think somethign like 50% of people gave it 4.5 to 5 stars with only the ending ruining it. I think it's a five personally.
