If you do, what do you think of it?

Love it. Though I hate whenever I transfer documents to another computer that has MS Office, the formats are all different. Only takes a few seconds to fix everything up though.

I give it two enthusiastic thumbs up. My free trial of MS Office will expire soon, and I was debating ether or not to buy it, or go with O.O. Is everything pretty much the same?

Highly recommend it. No issues whatsoever since I started using it about a year and a half ago.

I use it and love it. Works just as well as MS Office does.

O.O. works just the same as the Microsoft products. I've stuck with it for over a year.

Well, so far it seems it;s all positives, so when my trial expires, I'll give it a whirl. Thanks guys, but feel free to keep telling me I should use it ;D

Is everything pretty much the same? I only use the "Calc" (Spreadsheet), "Impress" (Powerpoint), and "Writer" (Word), but I never noticed any major differences from what Microsoft offers. Virtually the same. I see no reason whatsoever to go with Microsoft's product when O.O is free.

Depends what you are using it for. It's all you are doing is writting papers, it's good. Problem is, no Grammer and Style check.

By far one of the best programs I use on my laptop. The only problem I have with it, is the bullet and numbering system it uses (as I take down notes for my classes in college). Aside from that though, I highly recommend this program.

The positives of it more than outweigh the negatives for me. Open office is a fantastic tool.

It's a Love/Hate thing for me.
The reason it gets any hate from me, is that I have to do a lot of tinkering because I get all kinds of file formats all the time.
But I also love it for that reason... because I can handle all those formats all the time.
