Just curious if there are any crappers that are big into History?
I love learning about History's Heels, myself.
Anyone else fancy a documentary on the History Channel here and there?

Huge here. Can name all the presidents of the US backwards and forwards.
Don't really care for the History channel though.

I'm one of the few people I know that watch the History Channel WILLINGLY. Of course I was able to clean up in US History in the 11th grade cause of this. Watching all the World War II and Cold War shows on History Channel. Plus, I swear to God, Modern Marvels is my current favorite non-animated show on TV.
I love learning about things like the history of bread, chocolate, and other things.

I took 80 hours worth of Cultural History in College from Islamic History to the History of Imperial Russia.
Geopolitics were really fun to study. It really helps you see why things happen the way they do. And all the different angles you can see the same action from other's people's points of view.

I like that Marc Summers-hosted show where he tells us the history of candy.
And for some reason, I remember a lot about history from high school, and college. Random historical dates and occurrences are stuck in my head, and I cannot get them out.

I think the most well known heel in History is that of Achilles.

I like to watch History documentaries on the History Channel. I liked the recent special they did on George Washington. I also liked one they did Roman Emperors and of Vikings. I used to like to read my history text book and to take out books on it from the library but I don't utilize the library anymore so I stop reading them though if I'm in a book store I tend to stop and read quickly a few chapters.

Yeah I like history too, did a minor in it while getting my bachelors. I like the non-traditonal history books like "Lies my teachers told me" and "Don't know much about History", things that kinda blow up all the nice little history lessons you get in elementary and middle (and sometimes high school).

You should get "One night Stands with American History" www.amazon.com/One-Night-American-History-Revised-Updated/dp/0060538201/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1229547660&sr=8-1You'll great stories about: -The time a British solider almost shot George Washington dead but decided against it at the last minute. -Mark Twain's speech on spanking it! -The story of how Santa Claus' modern image came to be (hint: it's not Coca-Cola) -and much more I see it has a revised edition. Must pick that up (have an older one.)

I love history, I just graduated from Texas A&M University last Saturday with a degree in history. I love almost anything on the History Channel, but I love studying Medieval ages, Texas history and the Civil War.

I'm a HUGE history buff. Especially on the Middle Ages. I just wish there were more people who gave the Byzantine Empire its due.

I'm an English major and I know an extensive amount about Victorian and Renaissance England. My best friend is a huge history buff and wrote his Master Thesis on Mycenean Pirates.

God I love history. Outside of criminal justice/law it's easily my favorite thing to study.
History Channel is one of my favorites. Modern Marvels (especially the Engineering Disasters) and the America Eats: series are my favorite non-wrestling things to watch.
