I actually did hear she made an apperance at a Boise house show after she got released. I don't know how much of a send off it was, but she might have gotten something.

They should've built WrestleMania around her retirement instead of Flair's last year.

The issue I see is that giving her a sendoff would require her to have one last match, and, honestly, who wants to sit through a Torrie Wilson match again?

I think it's a case of she was out of sight, out of mind. And if that happens to someone and then they have to leave for whatever reason, the E is not gonna put resources into a goodbye.
Besides, by that point the women's matches on Smackdown were becoming all about Michellecanhascheezburger and Torrie was pretty much old news

So why didn't Scotty 2 Hotty get a proper send-off? Or Stevie Richards? Or Joy Giovanni? Torrie Wilson's presence/absence didn't make a whole lot of change in WWE's world, she didn't bring anything special to the table, she didn't stand particularly out, and was a below average worker in the ring. Just because she had been showing her T&A for 6 years, that doesn't mean she had earned a farewell speech or, even less, a on-air sendoff. I still struggle to get the reasons why Trish got a royal send-off, considering a lot of male Superstars left from the backdoor with little to no fanfare, or just disappeared with no explaination. P.S. Good to hear Lita loved her send-off, I still hate it and think it was poor taste and unnecessary. It wasn't 1986, strict kayfabe wasn't required, so the fans may have wanted to thank her in a better way than with a Cryme Tyme yard sale...

It may not have been required, but I guess if Lita really didn't want to do it, she would've spoke up. It was the best way for her character at the time.

I read an interview where Lita herself said it was fitting and she loved it. Actually Lita hated it from what I've read: Interviewer: You've said that WWE should have shown you more respect in your final appearance as a wrestler at Survivor Series 2006. Did you consider refusing to go along with the angle in which Cryme Tyme auctioned what were supposedly your personal belongings after you lost the WWE Women's title to Mickie James? Lita: It was a sense of professionalism that... No, I didn't agree with it. Yes, I thought it was rude, disrespectful and lame. But, at the same time, I wasn't going to let my pride get in the way of seven years of an opportunity that I'd had there, seven years of great experiences, a lot of money... I wasn't going to let that get in the way because I thought their idea was lame and rude. I thought the angle sucked. I went to Vince McMahon multiple times that day and all the writers multiple times, and I couldn't get it changed. In the end, I thought, "I'm not going to get upset about this because I don't want to make it a bigger deal than it is. Is it lame? Yes. Do I deserve more respect than this? Absolutely. But I'm obviously not going to get it. So, I'm not going to lose respect for myself for doing this. I'm going to be a professional. And all this does is reaffirm that WWE is not a positive place for me right now."

It may suck, but if you want to get paid, you got to go through it.

She was injured and off tv for a long time before getting released. If she came back... what would it be... a retirement speech? No one needs to hear that... This. Stacy didn't get a send-off either, and she was considered more of a big deal than Torrie.

Stacy's send off was Dancing With The Stars, more or less.

Can someone remind me of how Lita's send off went? I vaguely remember it, but not really.

she didn't get one because she didn't deserve one. i think trish and lita got their's because their contracts were done and they didn't want to renew, while torrie got released.

Can someone remind me of how Lita's send off went? I vaguely remember it, but not really. Lita decided to retire before her title defense against Mickie James so she could get the same sort of send-off as Trish, plus she was fed up of beating Mickie all the time, despite cheating for all of her wins, and even losing one of the lob-sided contests thanks to DX. So they have the match, and Mickie wins the title from Lita. After the match, Cryme Tyme arrive with all of Lita's stuff from her locker room, and auction it off to the fans.

I figured Torrie would get a Ric Flair style send off, but I guess I was wrong. I would have loved to see a 25 minute segment where WWE would bring out important figures from her past such as her father Alsie-Poo, her former stepmother Dawn Marie, former flings like Tajiri, David Flair, and Maven, the poolboy, Snitsky, Charles Nelson Reilly, etc. I would have shed a tear or two if they gave Chloe the podium to give a farewell speech.
I also think Braden Walker should have gotten a sendoff like this, but I'll save that for another time.

I do love Torrie she is a very beautiful woman, but she did not do too much in her WWE tenure to warrant a send-off besides posing for Playboy (which sold well from what I heard).
