I was no fan of her work at all, but it seems quite sad to me that she never got a goodbye work on smackdown at all :/

I guess her exit reflected her reason for being employed for 6 years.

Their was no need to kayfabe her send off. She deserved alot better. And even if they just had to do that, theirs no denying that it was unnecessary to take pro-Lita signs away...

I wish I could give the answers behind why, but that's what WWE had wanted and apparently it couldn't have bothered that much or she wouldn't have done it. I didn't see anything wrong with her getting beaten on her way out. I mean, they had JBL lose twice in the same night before he retired from wrestling in 2006. And WWE is not exactly known for letting people leave on top most of the time. I was surprised they did it for Trish to be honest.

Pretty much, with the way Lita was booked towards the end, then just couldn't suddenly pull out a Trish-like send-off and have it be received well. But hey, at least she got a great response at the 15th Anniversary show.

I read an interview where Lita herself said it was fitting and she loved it.

Honestly?
Because it's only Torrie Wilson. In the grand scheme of wrestling she's not even a footnote's footnote.

She was injured and off tv for a long time before getting released. If she came back... what would it be... a retirement speech? No one needs to hear that...
