Yeah, I don't think Torrie really deserved a send off. As mentioned, he was off TV and never really amounted to much besides "laying the groundwork" for the Divas division on Smackdown and showing her funbags.
Plus, as with Stacy, they were WCW talents. Did DDP, Goldberg, Steiner, etc. get big send offs? Nope.
And before anyone says Flair, he had positive history with WWE and was an NWA talent moreso than a WCW one. Plus, there's always an exception to the rule.
As for Trish/Lita. Trish was a face. They were in her hometown. She never caused a lick of trouble or drama for the WWE that anyone's ever noticed. She was easily the greatest improved female wrestler in WWE and arguably one of if not the greatest improved wrestlers perod, men included. She was also as homegrown as it gets in WWE, really. She never worked WCW, ECW, etc. And they just made a lot of money together.
Lita, on the other hand, retired a heel. She caused some drama for WWE with the whole Edge/Matt Hardy angle. Whether it was any of our business as fans or not isn't relevant, it still caused some drama for the WWE and she was involved and it definitely couldn't have helped locker room morale. Plus, whether she liked the angle or not... or what WWE did afterwards, the angle was to help put Cryme Tyme over and I really thought it did in my book. The fans in the crowd all seemed to love it. It just seems she had a bit of an ego or just love for her fanbase that she didn't want to truly embrace being the heel and skanky/bitchy character the majority of the crowd thought she was. Plus, it may have been Amy Dumas retiring behind the curtain but it was Lita retiring to the crowd.
EDIT: Plus, Lita did get her "good sendoff" at the 15th anniversary or whatever that was, with Trish a little while afterwards. She did say in an interview that she enjoyed that.

In defense of Lita's sendoff, it was redeemed and then some with the Raw Reunion.
Torrie Wilson, what can I say? Not everyone gets one.

on air send offs are very rare and torrie isnt one of the deserving few, trish had much more of an impact on womens wrestling than torrie could dream of having, and this is coming from someone who doesnt even care for womens wrestling

Lita may have caused "drama", but hell if WWE didn't capitalize big time on said drama...
Her cheating on Matt with Edge pretty much brought two careers to the next level, and provided WWE with already three years worth of storylines.
Heel or face, Lita deserved at least a respectful send-off, instead of being chased away to the locker room while Cryme Tyme were "selling" her panties and her dildo.
I think a handshake with Mickie, and a round of applause with some "thank you Lita" chants would have been fitting. Especially when Trish got the best send-off in history this side of Flair's.

Couldn't agree more. Lita was a much better wrestler and did more for for the women's division than Trish, no matter how much the WWE tried forcing you to feel otherwise

There doesn't really seem to be an issue here. Surely nobody (Torrie included) is too bothered by the lack of send off. It seems like she made some good money in the 'E, she was hot and she left us with this moment, one which I shall never forget... www.dailymotion.com/video/x52bmu_dawn-marie-night-with-torrie-wilson_shortfilmsGawd bless ya Torrie- thanks for the mammories! *Sorry, that 'joke' was horrible. I'll get my coat...*

The crowds also loved gazillions of walking boobs, and Hornswaggle... I'm not saying Trish wasn't uberpopular, just that her contribution wasn't deserving of a Flair-esque farewell. Retiring with the Top Title, in your hometown... That's the kind of tribute you give to THE Legend, not to a once-generic blonde turned Superstar for lack of better competition.

Just because you didn't like those things, doesn't mean WWE shouldn't have done them. Apparently WWE must've seen her in a high standard to give her such a sendoff, whether you liked it or not. Lita was a heel at the time and she was ripping on the fans each week leading up into the show. She may not have liked it, but for her character at the time it was the best way to go out.

I don't think Torrie is gone for good anyway, and she's not a legend so no sendoff was necessary.
she was my favorite babe though, and if there's a god in heaven her back will be healed and she will be on WWF TV wrestling barefoot in the near future.
god bless you Torrie.

I agree with everything you said, heels don't get teary emotional exits and are not expected to. Plus, if Lita wasn't being a slut in real life, none of this would've ever happened. As far as Torrie Wilson's send-off(or lack thereof), her biggest claim to fame was the storyline between her Dawn Marie and her father who was sexed to death. Why would you want to build a 25 minute segment around somebody who's most famous for that?
