Didn't Punk and Hardy, J. go through similar stretches (maybe not as long) before they began their mega pushes? Yeah I believe Punk jobbed clean to the Miz right before his WHC win.

Maybe the WWE doesn't want to activate the clause in his contract that would happen if he wins another match.

Someone in management found out that he's not a Red Sox fan.

If they are going for the incentive storyline. Maybe have him lose one more match. Maybe against a jobber due to a roll-up. The next week show him getting out of his car, and blow by Eve who's waiting for an interview. Have him come out for his match later in the night and have him say he missed the window for his bonus by one week, and he's not happy. Then have him proceed to destroy the jobber he lost to the week before in a fit of rage. Maybe give him a few chair shots after the match. Then they can proceed with a push. It would be an interesting way to kick it off.

Wins and losses don't mean anything in Double Double E.

Wins and losses don't mean anything in Double Double E. Except that some guys who randomly go on an extended losing streak suddenly find themselves at the unemployment line. See Conway, Rob. See Domino, The. See Jordan, Orlando.

See Domino, The. See Jordan, Orlando. It isn't random when you think about it MVP has been JTTS status since January. This is how it is for 2008: Count-out loss to Mysterio, lost to Flair during the retirement angle, failed in MITB, dropped strap to Matt Hardy, midcard limbo, wins feud with Geoffrey Hardy, midcard limbo, signing bonus angle.

So R-Truth is the highest paid athlete in Smackdown history now? Well if I have to spell it out then he's now the black upper midcarder that they're grooming for the main event scene. I think that's Shelton.

This is what happens when you attack people with screw drivers.

At this point I have to believe he's pissed someone off. I refuse to believe that anyone on creative has someone with that much talent on roster and can find nothing better for him than this. And no, he didn't attack HHH with a screwdriver. Or did he? He may or may not have

MVP may or not have attacked HHH with a Screwdriver.

In all serious though yes MVP should over this losing streak by now but he is getting TV time every week and is losing to upper mid carders and main eventers so its not all bad.

Wins and losses don't mean anything in Double Double E. Except that some guys who randomly go on an extended losing streak suddenly find themselves at the unemployment line. See Conway, Rob. See Domino, The. See Jordan, Orlando. You just listed three guys who never actually went on a winning streak, or who were somewhat relevant. MVP has been losing a lot just because he's been facing either the WWE Champion and his face #1 contender, or people who needed a win for storyline purposes. As said by others, when he'll start losing to Festus or Jimmy Wang Yang, we can start panicking. Until then, wins/losses are just part of the normal dynamics of weekly shows

It is an angle where he can't win... He's not just jobbing every week, hes acknowledging it and he really wants to win.

You guys need to face it MVP isin't the next big thing. He reached his peak in his fued with Matt Hardy. Problem with that argument is, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. "You're as hot as you'll get in a mid-card feud so we are going to have you job continuously to the upper tier guys." Then, when he jobs a bunch of times and the crowd reacts to him like he's the modern day Barry O, they say "see, you belong in the mid-card".
