When two wrestlers continue to brawl just outside the ring, and therefore get themselves counted out. If you hate each other so much, get back into the ring and let the match continue! I don't know about you, but if I'm in a fight with someone I hate, I'm not gonna give a crap if a referee is counting to 10, 15, or 20. I'm gonna kick his ass, and I don't care if I win

Ric Flair, 16 time world champion, 30+ year veteren, arguably the greatest wrestler in the entire universe, as a heel, never did figure out not to climb the top rope and try whatever wacky stunt he was about to try. Ric, if it didn't work the first, I dunno, 90,987 times, why would it work this time? I loved when Jim Ross went off on Flair about it. "He's been going to the top rope for 30 years and it hasn't worked Why would it work now?" I need to find a clip of that.

I reaaaaaally don't like the spot where wrestler A. is on his back, having to count the lights for 15 minutes, where wrestler B. takes his time running about the ring, doing dance moves, brushing shoulders, whatever. I wouldn't mind the rock's so much if he just went from rope to rope, and then did the elbow drop. But scotty's was the most over the top. I *suppose* I don't mind the wrestlers lying on their backs and taking it, I just hate that the moves themselves are sold as if they were the hand of God. "OMGz, an Elbow Drop not from the top rope, it's over! Whoa, Cena just dropped knuckles on his head, no way he's getting up from this! Holy crap, a doofy cruiserweight just came down with a chop to the head; Ballgame Maggle!!" So much flare for such lame moves that got sold like crazy. I remember rolling my eyes the first time I saw Kofi bumping around, but then he actually does a pretty devastating move!! Go figure! Thank you for saving this spot, Mr. Kingston.

I've got two:
1. This one you don't see much anymore, but back when I was watching "Superstars" as a kid, this spot occured every week. Jobber mounts some offense and whips opponent into the ropes. Jobber goes for a dropkick but opponent hooks his arms over the ropes, causing jobber to miss completely.
2. This was Jerry Lawler's main spot in Memphis, and Tommy Dreamer's in the old ECW. Heel girl, wearing a mini-skirt, gets in the ring, only to get grabbed by the hair and placed in a piledriver position. However, instead of immediately piledriving her, Lawler/Dreamer would parade around the ring with the girl, showing off her underwear to the crowd, while she stays perfectly still, waiting for a move that could break her neck. You'd think they might try to , I don't know, squirm out of the guy's grip?

Spot that I hate, the bell being continued to ring during a post-match brawl.

I hate the doublke clothesline spot. Logically, the force of one guys clothesline should cancel out the other guy's but both guys get knocked on their ass.

Unless one guy was much larger than they were, or else one guy had his feet planted fairly firmly, I don't see why both clotheslines wouldn't knock each other down. Now, the one probably wouldn't do as much damage as one would likely connect a little before the other, cutting off a lot of the force of the second.

I hate when a guy is in a submission move and makes the ropes. This is amplified by the times when one wrestler has a guy in a hold (like a sharpshooter) and walks with him to the turnbuckle. Dude, just go dead weight.
And if Cena has time to stand directly over somebody and do "You cant see me" and have them not react, they're probably out cold and you could probably pin them. They seem to wake up in intense pain after you hit it.

this has annoyed me for years. i call it the "i stand alone" spot.
Supposed Badass Tweener guy is fighting multiple opponents. suddenly a face or two comes thru and helps him get rid of the bad guys. then tweener guy attacks face(s) and comes out on top, poses, and leaves everyone laying. so smurfing stupid, unless you're feuding with or have history with the face(s)

What this thread says to me is that all the little discrepancies that make no sense are what makes pro-wrestling so special. Things you know are going to happen are often great anyway. Hot tags, Flair going to the top rope, Jeff Hardy doing the Whisper in the Wind, Wrestlers staying done so The Rock can do a People's Elbow. Wrestling isn't real and I don't want it to be.

Note to anybody who faces Shawn Michaels: If you're lying on the mat and you begin to hear rhythmic stomping, it might be a good idea to get out of the ring. Hee! What was cool was after so many years of failing, he finally hit it during that match where he won the IC title from Carlito. When he hit that, it sounded like a Hogan pop from 1988. I remember that! I think even I cheered in front of my TV.

idiotic moves like the 'skin the cat'...michaels and flair I'm looking at you! Try something a little more original rather than insulting my intelligence with tired old shit that you do EVERY week. I guess I could fit the way HBK suddenly springs up all the time when hes been down on the canvas, and perhaps even the way 'taker does it, just cus its overdone really.

Heel/Face is distracted by something outside the ring while Heel/face #2 sneaks up and goes for the roll up, 99% nowadays it succeedes, i hate it for the simple fact, Its extremly easy to kick out of. OT(but related) Story: i had a buddy of mine hit me with a rollup i told him to not tell me where or when just to do it to see how effective it is, needles to say it isnt, logically(more so if your in a wrestling match) if you feel yourself going backwards odds are there trying to pin you, a simple shift of your weight to either the left or right easily gets you out of it, but to this day remains the most effective move ever.

The "Hot Tag" annoys me to know end. Why? Only faces use it and the heels NEVER counter it! It's the same freakin' formula for every Face vs. Heel tag match. Why can't we ever have good, back and fourth tag matches? Is that too much to ask?

Why is almost every punch a haymaker? It leads to easy arm-raised blocks. Try a jab every once in a while
