Which 5 will get nominations for Best Picture at the Academy Awards this year?

I'll go with...
Slumdog Millionaire Wall-E Benjamin Button Frost/Nixon and Doubt or Milk
A Best Film nomination for The Wrestler may just be out of reach.
I think Frank Langella or Clint Eastwood will win best Actor.

My predictions:
The Dark Knight Doubt The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Frost/Nixon The Wrestler
I wouldn't be surprised if The Wrestler or The Dark Knight is replaced by Milk or Gran Torino as the former's your token Oscarbait (though Doubt already fills that niche) and the latter is a Clint Eastwood movie, who the Academy always has a hard-on for. I'd love to see WALL*E nominated, and it's probably a lock for Best Animated Film, but the Academy hasn't nominated an animated film for Best Picture since Beauty & The Beast and I can't see them breaking tradition this year.

I'm surprised at how many people consider The Dark Knight as a serious contender. I'm not saying it's out of the question, it's just that it hasn't fared super-well on the awards circuit thus far. It's done ok, just not great.

Frost/Nixon should win.
It'd be a joke if Dark Knight is even nominated.

Frost/Nixon should win. It'd be a joke if Dark Knight is even nominated. A joke? A bit much...an Oscar joke would be like if they nominated All The President's Men, Network and Taxi Driver, and then gave Best Picture to Rocky....waitaminnit.....

Dart Knight was easily the best film I saw this year. I'd like to see Milk and Frost/Nixon but you have to admit those two have Oscar Bait written all over 'em.

The Dark Knight? Seriously, it was a good movie and I loved it but contender for Best Picture, I dont think so. Films I say will get Best Picture Nom are Curse of Benjamin Button, The Reader, Slumdog Millionaire, Revolutionary Road and Frost/Nixon.

The Dark Knight is has a better rating than almost all of these movies on RottenTomatoes, and considering the Academy may want to appeal to the mainstream again, it's not out of the question. I'm a big movie buff and it was one of my top 5 favorite movies of the year.
Gran Torino is sub-par and I have no clue why it's getting Oscar buzz.
No way is Button one of the top 5 films of the year.
If Doubt gets nominated, it won't win.
Penn should win best Actor

The Dark Knight Benjamin Button The Wrestler Slumdog Millionaire Changeling
I know Dark Knight probably won't get the nod but Id like to think it was one of the top 5 (certainly my favourite) films of last year, so it has to be nominated.
If Forrest Gump and Titanic can clean up why not Dark Knight?

Gran Torino was pretty funny, and the ending made sense.
I didn't tear up like I did at the ending of seven pounds though.

Frost/Nixon The Wrestler Milk The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Revolutionary Road
There's no way The Dark Knight is getting a best picture nod. Despite what hardcore fans of the movie want to believe, it is not a groundbreaking cinematic masterpiece. It's just a really well-made action/suspense movie. Nothing more and nothing less.
