Sweet this is awesome, I get WGN on my cable system
I think this will be how they replace heat.
really think this could be their way to get more viewers into some of the jobberinos.

I was hoping they would be airing old episodes of Superstars. I too think this will be like Heat/Jakked/Velocity with preliminary matches taped before/between TV tapings.

WGN has been interested in getting a wrestling program for years now, so this really isn't that much of a shock. I kind of wish they would have went with an Indy (not ROH per se, just an Indy), but that's a minor gripe at this point. Still, I love WGN. It's like if U-62 was a real station.

I read that Vince tried to buy the Illonois senate seat from the Governor.
But either way, this sounds like a Sunday Night HEAT show, which I think the WWE needs.

WGN was trying to get Impact after they left FSN They were also the top bidder for Smackdown from what I remember reading but, since they weren't "over the air" they lost out.

I don't get WGN here in Pullman, but I do get it back home, which I'll be come May, so I can watch it this summer, I guess.

I would like the show to be hosted by Josh Matthews and Santino from WWE Studios, in front of all the TV's ala Livewire. Then you can show matches from each brand that were taped prior, as well as some interview segments in the back with no announcer, real old school style.

Anyone agree that WWE did a diservice by cutting HEAT/Velocity?
It gave low card wrestlers something to do and was a good way for young wrestlers to get tryouts.

This had better not interrupt any more Cubs games. There are far too few of them on WGN anymore.
But yay Superstars! I'm in favor of it coming back if it doesn't interrupt my baseball.

As someone who doesn't live in Chicago but still watches WGN with some regularity, I can honestly say that I hate the Cubs. Preemptions suck. I don't care if it's just the same episodes of Scrubs that I've seen a billion times. I want to see my show, dammit.
