The more i look at it the more it reminds me of if schwein and a northern lights bomb raped a back body drop and got it pregnant and the back body drop was pro life so it had the baby even though it knew it would ruin its life...wait what

No wonder why Vince destroyed it as soon as he came in. Some of Big Daddy & Haystack's matches are just embarrassing...

Most wrestlers today could only dream of getting a reaction like Big Daddy did.

Big Daddy was so charasmatic he MADE westling popular in England. Seriously for almost a decade BD was as popular as the biggest stars in football. QFT. As appalling a wrestler as he was, he was the face of Brit wrestling. The freaking Queen and Maggie Thatcher watched it in his day. Trouble is, he also killed British wrestling. He made it and killed it. If modern British wrestling could get the same exposure I think itd do very well. There's great stars about, its just that while BD made the business here, his latter-days image is what has basically numbed it here for a long time yet.

I think there is still this misconception that he made British wrestling - he was the biggest star of his (relatively brief) era, but he wasn't the guy that had the biggest matches, that was Jackie Pallo and Mick McManus, really.

Mick McManus's name makes me want to be a wrestler, just so I can be named Mick McMickinlyMickMick. I would want to make the ring announcer consistantly say my name wrong.
