Luger had good matches with Flair, Sting Most of the stuff in 89 he had some of his best matches. Most people forget that early in his career Luger was not a bad wrestler Not a bad wrestler? Does that mean he was a good wrestler? Sting and Flair are known to make anyone look like a decent wrestler.

From Watching some of Luger's work from 87-91 I would say he was a good wrestler Luger could hang on his own his work in 96 and 97 was decent.

Kevin Nash. I don't recall him having many good matches, except when Hall, Michaels, and Bret Hart were on hand as opponents to carry him through his matches.
From what I remember, the Blue Meanie / The Blue boy is a mediocre wrestler, although he's fairly good at acting and delivering promos.

When I think mediocre, it doesn't neccessarily mean bad. It's like... decent. A bit forgettable.
Sean O'Haire is one, for sure.

I'm going to say Vampiro. I actually really liked Vampiro. He may have been a victim of type casting in WCW. I swear he had nothing bud ridiculous story line after ridiculous storyline. It was really hard to get into a character when he is running around with The Misfits one week, then a KISS imposter the next week, and then three weeks later is running around with freaking ICP. His biggest feud I suppose, was with Sting, but Sting was always "hurt" during this time, and the angle never really had any momentum. Even then they were wrestling in graveyards and setting stuntmen on fire. A real shame. That being said, his in ring repertoire was pretty forgettable, with the exception of his Nail in the Coffin finisher. I do not recall him ever winning a belt either.

I'm pretty sure he had a brief tag champ run with Muta.
Checked Wiki, I'm correct, he did.
One more mediocre wrestler, The Godfather. He certainly could be fun TV, but he wasn't going to set the world on fire out there. His gimmick certainly helped things.

Punk is the Champion of Mediocrity. In fact, I heard that's what the C.M. stood for.

Don't reply to trolls, dear Stryker.
I'll say it for you if you haven't already, Nash is pretty mediocre based on ring work alone.

Chris Masters = The Mediocrepiece It sucks he got fired just as he was starting to get the hang of it. Steve Blackman was mediocre, not in that he was BAD or anything, but outside of tagging with Al and hardcore matches, he couldn't find anything that fit him.

Haha, let me qualify the statement.
He was mediocre in regular singles matches. He was EXCELLENT in a hardcore setting.

Marty Jannetty. Just good enough to get hired, not good enough to stay for 24 hours.

to me, carlito is the absolute epitome of mediocrity. i can't say i've ever seen a bad carlito match, but i can't say i've ever seen a great one either. he is middle of the road, just like a bunch of dashed lines.

He certainly could be fun TV, but he wasn't going to set the world on fire out there. His gimmick certainly helped things. I just mentioned him in one of those "choose the best match from WrestleMania __ " threads. Somebody saw the line-up from WM XV and said "You know, maybe we give the Attitude Era too much credit." Back then, if you could cut a promo, you were a star - regardless of wrestling ability. Godfather definitely fits that comment. GF was a good guy to have lead off a house show, because he does his 3-minute spiel about lightin' fatties and his "ladies", but his matches were blah. Didn't matter, as if you're on the first match of any small house show, people are just looking to scream and yell at any kind of action, no matter how boring the guy is. If you're not into technical wrestling, I'm sure a lot of people would consider Steven/William Regal mediocre as well.
