Marty Jannetty. Just good enough to get hired, not good enough to stay for 24 hours. Jannetty was a damn good wrestler, but could never keep his nose clean.

to me, carlito is the absolute epitome of mediocrity. i can't say i've ever seen a bad carlito match, but i can't say i've ever seen a great one either. he is middle of the road, just like a bunch of dashed lines. I do not disagree with you, but I think Carlito's best days are ahead of him.

I liked Luther, if for no other reason than the fact that every time he was on screen somebody would bring up how he had been shot/stabbed/hung

Savio Vega just couldn't seem to do much to shine, but didn't really stink up the joint. So, he's pretty middle of the road.
And, of course, perhaps the epitome of mediocrity, Buff Bagwell. He would of probably gone a little further if he wasn't such an ass, and if he didn't think he was GREAT, maybe he could of worked hard enough to actually become that good.
