... you finish the sentence. Personally, I wonder why there hasn't been a remake of Soylent Green yet.

Most of the Monster movies from the cheesy era, with more blood, darker filming, and a 50 million dollar budget increase.

I wonder why there hasn't been a re-make of Power Rangers: The Movie yet.
Admit it, you'd see that s*** in theaters.

I'm not even going to mention the movie I'm thinking of, because I don't want to jinx it. They've left it alone this long....let the bastards ruin everything else.
I'll simply say that as revered as it IS, it's a no-brainer that they'd try and re-do it, to capitalize on that love.

All of those, Cela, but one in particular, especially since director Bryan Singer has already confided that he'd LOVE to do it, but he has too much respect for it's original director to ever attempt it unless he has The Man's blessing.
A blessing which appears to never be coming, thank GOD. I can only cross my fingers and hope that California's recent recession, or hard economic times don't force the Great One to weaken his resolve and allow Singer to go back in the water again......
;D
And the reason I'm being so cryptic is that I'm trying not to set off Deadpool's "Affleck joke" radar. It's my own personal version of typing around the filter. ;D ;D

Judging from that it must be a Schwarzenegger movie.
May his films never be remade.

Smokey and the Bandit is screaming for a remake.
Jason Lee - Bandit
Johnny Knoxville - Snowman
Zooey Deschanel - Frog
And as Sheriff Buford T. Justice - Stone Cold Steve Austin
There would be no Junior.

Most of the Monster movies from the cheesy era, with more blood, darker filming, and a 50 million dollar budget increase. Agreed. I'd LOVE to see a rated R remake of THEM!Giant Ants ripping people apart in the SW Deserts? Yes please! However, I know this prayer will get answered by Sci Fi Orignals and their 500$ CGI crapfests.

Flash Gordon. I think it's in the works, but I've been waiting for a remake since like 2000. Preferably with The Rock starring.

You know I'd bet about 95% of these suggestions were thought of already.
They already had thought of remaking Smokey and The Bandit - with Will Smith as the Bandit.
Predator is being remade, so is Conan, Nightmare on Elm Street, and tons others. I forget were I read it but I believe there's currently over 100 remakes in some form of being made or are in "development".

I say they should use the idea a friend of mine from college had, use the Muppets. Scooter is perfect for Brad.

I'd like to see a Creature From the Black Lagoon remake.
I always felt like there was more they could do with that one.
