She was touted as the great white hope of the women's division about 18 months ago, now after a couple of unfortunate injuries, she is basically RAW's (melty)face jobber.
I'm aware that Melina's getting the title push right now, but I'm just wondering how Candice has fallen so far down the totem pole.

She just lost it. Plain and simple.

Because Raw's got Mickie, Melina and Kelly, they all get better reactions than Candice. Out of the face divas on Raw, Candice gets the smallest reaction.
Moving her to Smackdown might be their best option.

She was never all that talented. People always bring up how much she's improved and how hard she's worked to get there, but for all that effort she's still only passable in the ring, and she's never really had the charisma to connect with the fans.

Because Beth's too important with this whole Melina and debut of Rosa thingy, Kelly Kelly is in a storyline with Kane and Orton, and Mickie is always on because she's a big face.

She may have lost the passion when she damn near snapped her neck. If you dont love performing as a wrestler to begin with something has traumatic as that could probably dampen your drive.

Its unfortunate as she was developing into a good wrestler like Trish did before her but after she broke her collerbone and Stephanie tried to kill her with a water bottle, she's just a shell of what she use to be.

I think the injuries zapped her confidence and adversely affected her progress. Frankly, a few months out of the spotlight where she can train and get her skills back in order might not be the worst thing to happen to her.

I commend the divas for their hard work and Candice for her hard work to return, but I just don't think their bodies (smaller frames...you know what I mean) are as capable of taking so many bumps and injuries as the male wrestlers are. I mean, no one's body was meant to take bumps like wrestlers do, but I think it is safe to say that it is even harder on the bodies of the divas than the male superstars. I hope this isn't sexist.

The bump Candice took to break her collarbone was vicious. I wouldn't be shocked if that plays through her head often when she gets in the ring. She's nowhere near as experienced as some of the veterans in the company, the guys (and girls) who have seen and experienced major injury before. She may just not have the physical gifts to recover from an injury like that, or it may take her some time to get back into the swing of things.
Regardless, it seems like the face Divas on Raw are interchangeable anyways, so don't be surprised to see Candice in a featured role sooner rather than later.

Remember Lita's terrible bump on Raw? That's the closest thing I can think of to Candice's injury in terms of diva injuries. Lita was primarily a valet after that, though she wrestled more matches during her last few months in the WWE. When she did finally start wrestling again she was nowhere near as mobile and didn't do a lot of the old moves she used to do. I see some similarities between Lita and Candice's situations.

You may have to refresh my memory. The horrific bump I remember Lita taking was when she dove to the outside and damn near broke her neck. (Pardon the bad commentary style phrase there)

Not really, considering that Lita was fine after the bump. It was the knee injury she sustained about a month later that put her on the shelf for nearly a year. Mostly, she didn't wrestle as much because she was more valuable as a valet. Unfortunately for Candice, she doesn't have a main event level superstar she can attach herself to right now.

That bump didn't injure her though. She got injured at New Year's Revolution, when she landed wrong and pretty much destroyed her knee. That was the injury that took her out of action, and hurt her mobility.

Good point, but also Lita was injured doing a stunt on Dark Angel, so that also contributed to the decline of her in-ring career.
