So in the end nobody of any importance to 99.99% of the WWE's fanbase was lost.

Congratulations Gavin Spears. You have become the New Johnny Parisi. Gavin Spears actually appeared on ECW. Johnny Parisi was officially a RAW superstar, but only appeared on Heat. So, that doesn't really work. Well, I meant that he was hired, never appeared on any other shows except for one, was jobbed out completely, then vanished. Though Parisi at least won ONE match during his stint, which is more than you can say for poor Gavin.

No, but at the same time that the rosters are staring down the barrel of an aging main event scene and several impending retirements. They have a midcard that can step up, but who will step up to replace the midcard? Especially if they keep giving up on new people so soon after they arrive

I'm sure there will be a write up tomorrow in the Stamford Advocate about the layoffs. If any more news shows up i'll post it here.
I've met a couple employees from WWE Headquarters over the past years working retail. I wonder if they survived the cut...

I think I'm most upset by Val and D'Lo. Val was always just really fun to watch, both in the ring and in promos. I actually never thought he'd be let go, considering all the time he'd put in to the company. :/
As for D'Lo, wasn't he JUST brought back? So much for that, I guess.
When it comes to the refs, they can sacrifice whoever they want to the cutbacks ... except Chioda. Hands off that man.

Where are you hearing it from? Not doubting you, just curious. From other forums saying the same thing Like I said it's just a rumor I wouldn't believe it until WWE.com Post it on their site or Pwinsider or the Observer has something about it on their site Unfortunately, it is now on the Observer. EDIT: Well, it was there, but now it's gone.

Damn, I'm bummed about Gavin Spears. If only they did like I said, and kept him as Shawn Spears, and given him the gimmick of how Britney's son turned out, as something of a cross between Raven and Pillman, he'd be main eventing ECW by now.

Hopefully these releases arent actually happening near the time time that they are reported here online because seriously what kind of company just randomly releases employees near midnight? Thats just ridiculous

Spears could've been in the IC/US title hunt by now, AT LEAST.
The guy had it all. Too bad he's gone now.

I have a feeling that Cabana is a goner. They still need a job guy, and Colt's blog is pretty popular. So there's a chance he's safe from these cuts.

Thats just ridiculous It's happened in WWE and WCW before with the idea that they won't be as pissed off during the night or it might go easier.....or they're just lazy. But it has happened before. Those guys probably knew earlier in the day though and it's just now being reported

Is that Tim White as in "Suicidal Tim White"?
I'm proud to say I have no idea who the last 3 wrestlers on that list are.
Wait wait wait...
D'lo and Val are gone, but Colt Cabana is still there?
