Okay every body let's get this tournament kicked off. The rules are simple, there is a 24-hour period to vote for your character of choice. The winner of the vote will move on to round 2 and live to fight another day. The loser is out of the tournament.
Due to an odd amount of entries we may get three-way matches sometimes.
I'm setting the poll so it doesn't show who is winning until it is locked. Though I know guys like Joker (Sinister) and DSR can see it anyways.
Now, as far as what I'm looking for on voting criteria... anything goes. If you want to vote for someone because he's cooler, a better character, can win in a fight, funnier, you like their movie series better, who is the bigger horror icon, whatever you want. This is all about us having fun, so knock yourself out.
So let's get this underway. The opening match pits a true OG in the horror movie industry against a well known, yet often forgotten seriel killer.
Count Orlok
Movie: NOSFERATU
Year: 1922
Count Orlok stalks his prey at night, like most vampires. He posed as a nobleman moving from the Carpathian Mountains to the town of Wisborg, Germany. When Count Orlok moves though, Death moves as well. Orlok not only wipes out an entier ships crew, including the captain, on his way to Wisborg, but when he gets there he wrecks havoc by spreading diseases and plague to the point the town calls for a quarantine.
Though Orlok was a rendition of the classic Dracula character he has since morphed into his own in popular mediums and inspired many refrences to him and his look. This includes video games, movies, television shows, and table top RPGs.
Fan-Made Trailer:
Vs.
Pamela Voorhees
Movie: Friday the 13th
Year: 1980
Though it can be argued that Pamela Vorhees has been in more than one movie, she only finds her self being the main, killing, bad guy in one movie of a twelve movie series.
Pamela's vengful rage came from the fact that she believed her son Jason's death to be the fault of neglectful camp counselors. The camp closed due to the killings, but was later attempted to be reopened. Pamela once again showed up to poison the water and set fire, creating another shut down. This time, in 1980, they once again attempted to reopen the camp. This once again sets Pam off to get to kill them all, eventually explaining that she is doing this to prevent any more tragic accidents like what happened ot her boy.
Much like Randy Orton... she hears voices in here head, they counsel her... and they say KILL!
