I love the UC.
08th MS, 0080 (such a heartbreaker) and 0083 (Cima was hot, Kou was a bitch, and Gato was the MAN) Char's Counterattack is a fav too.
But I also enjoy Wing and the new Gundam 00 thing.
Turn-A had Loran Cehack right?

I appreciate Gundam Wing, MS Gundam, MS Gundam 8th MS Team, Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, and G Gundam.
Oh yeah, Erupting Burning Finger owns all.

One of the things I really liked about G Gundam was how completely different it was from every other Gundam series. It was a Super Robot show in a metaseries that was mainly real robot.
I really want to get my hands on some of the G Gundams Gunplas, especially the Master Grades, but they're becoming really hard to find lately. :/ At least the Gundam 00 ones are pretty fun. I want to get my hands on some of the HG 1/100 ones, but I have a HG 1/144 Dynames and just finished a 1/144 Ali al-Saachez AEU ENACT Custom.

Back when G Gundam was on Cartoon Network, I remember Bandai released a lot of the easy to build models of the G Gundam Gundams. They were pretty fun to put together.

Turn-A had Loran Cehack right? Yup, it was the one with Loran Cehack. Actually a really good character. While most series tend to have young pilots...I think he's probably the youngest, and the one whose age actually shows the most. Plus, the show was just filled with a ton of awesome anachronisms. It was just really cool overall. And really, you can't go wrong with Yoko Kanno scoring anything.

The Orginal 2 UC series are some of the best anime ever made period (Gundam and Zeta gundam). With the rest of the series in UC being very good. Turn A is also awesome, basically any Gundam made by Tomino (guy who orginally came up with the idea) is amazing. On the other hand you have crap fests like Wing and Seed. Seed being the worst of them all because it was supposed to be a remake of the original show, except it was basically turned into a teen drama, had a million gundams and had "beams coming out of every orifice" syndrome.
A really under appreciated Gundam show is Victory Gundam. Great and unique designs, especially when it comes to Victory Gundam it self, which showed that you can have a Gundam that was more technologically advanced then any other in the timeline (Victory occurs 80 years after the Original) without looking like you have every single thing a Gundam can have. More importantly it has a great storyline.

But Wing is still my favourite. Possibly because it introduced me to the Gundam universe...but really I just think it's got an excellent story, great characters, awesome score...it's all good times. To each his own and all that.

I'll always love Wing 'cuz it has Lady Une who is in my Pantheon of my favorite evil Female characters of all time. There was one of these mini-comics at the end of the regular comic that depicted her as good without glasses and then evil when she puts them on, that made me smile.

I started to play Dynasty Warriors Gundam the other day and it made me nostalgic about Gundam, particularly the OYW stuff. I can't wait till 2 to play through the Char's Counterattack scenarios, That was like my favorite part of gundam.

Even though the gameplay isn't a whole lot different, for some reason just being a Gundam game is enough for me to enjoy the series again, when I was getting tired of it years ago.

Gundam SEED: I'm not done with this one yet, I'm about halfway through. I gotta say, I don't quite understand the widespread hate this show gets. I understand personal tastes and all that, but I have yet to really find anything wrong with this show. I'm even getting past the character artstyle that I wasn't too fond of. I don't really notice it anymore. So far the story is pretty engaging, I like all the characters, the score...everything is just amazing so far. And Flay is such a bitch. Seriously. I haven't hated a character in anything this much since Seymour in FFX. Just...wow, I hate her. But yeah. I figured I'd just bump this instead of making a new thread or whatever.

Yes. Yes they did. Pretty much the entire cast of Gundam Wing was awesome. Even if Wu Fei was a misogynistic asshole.

I don't think I've actually seen Wing since 2001 or so, but whenever killer robots comes up I like to shout out to Deathsythe.

I think Heavyarms was my favorite other than Wing Zero. I mean, you had a Gundam who did acrobatic flips going into battle. Then while everyone was going "ooo" and "aaah", he'd shower bullets onto the battlefield, leaving everyone screaming "DAMMIT! We got distracted again!"

Yeah, Heavyarms was a total badass. One of my most frequent choices when I played Endless Duel all the time. Ahhh memories.

Never got into the cartoons, I know nothing of the story/mythology whatever, but my buddy let me borrow this game called MS Saga for the PS2 that I have never heard of and I enjoy it. It seems to be a traditional RPG in which your party just so happens to fight in customizable mobile suits. The story's not super-epic. (in fact, it's so cliched I can call many of it's shots well in advance) But I could mess with my little robots till the end of time.

Yeah, MS Saga looked pretty neat. I never got around to playing it, mostly because my PS2 backlog is obscenely large, but I will eventually. Glad to know it's pretty fun to customize the mecha.

I love Gundam SEED, Gundam MS 8th Team, Stardust Memory, Gundam Zeta, and Gundam X which is very underrated the one with Garrod.
I'm sorry but I don't like Wing, it was just inconsistent to me. I hate Duo and Wu Fei the most.

Seed isn't the one people have a problem with, its the one people like, especially episode 30 and past, its SEED Destiny people can't stand for being a piece of crap.
