I always find it funny seeing pics of wrestlers hold up belts that they've never won...post any that you can find...
This was inspired by the pic I saw on here the other day of Orlando Jordan holding up JBL's belt.

He won it but it's still sad seeing Swoggle with a belt...

Or the one with Piper holding the WWF title, looks like from 92 when he had a string of steel cage matches with Ric Flair on the house show circuit post-Royal Rumble.

Isn't there a picture of Ashley with the Women's title floating around?

I'm sure he was announced as the WWF champion at this show, as he did a Boston/Philly doubleshot the night after the Friday Night Main Event and the announcer/commentators referred to him as champion. Though of course in the record books he wasn't.

PWI (Or maybe it was WWF magazine?) printed pics of Owen with the WWF title....think the article said there was some kind of conspiracy where he "beat" Bret for it at an arena show but it was overturned or something....so long ago. Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.

Maybe someone knows what I'm talking about. First episode of Action Zone Owen stole the title from the ref and went to the ropes and held it up... Then to lose to Bret. Also the event you are talking about... Owen beat Bret and the heels celebrated just to have the refs overturn the decision, restart the match, and hitman wins. (in a nutshell)

Owen winning the WWE Title is on Youtube. Of course, they don't show the decision being overturned. At least I don't think so, havent watched the whole vid in a while. Here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q41jwsAVcM
