For all these "women's matches=piss break" thinkers, seriously jump over to Youtube and watch some 90's Joshi (Japanese women's wrestling) if that's your attitude. Those girls outdo even the WWE men. As for this topic, no it isn't. It's a bit meaningless in the long run but at least it's not a waste of time like all those crap Playboy matches. With the prospect of seeing past Divas, it's probably the most interesting sounding women's match at WM since Mickie/Trish in 06 or Trish/Jazz/Victoria in 03. I've seen those matches and I still consider them pissbreaks, they could do all the highspots they want, still don't care what they do.

i find it insulting any time they put usa womens wrestling (in its current form) on the biggest and supposedly most prestigious show of the year, all they are is eye candy and i see better eye candy than those cookie cutter blondes every time i walk down the street Beth, Kelly, McRibs, Natalya, Maryse and Tiffany are the blondes on the roster. so you see chicks who look like them, Layla, The Bellas, Alicia Fox, Melina, Eve, and Candice all walking down your street? Seriously where do you live? Is it Miami? Because I don't see chicks that look like the divas all that often and I'm from Southern California, a haven for hot chicks with mystic tans. Seriously Bob you may see them, but do you interact and watch them? I never got this arguement, oh these chicks all look alike. They dont. I like Female wrestlers like Fabi, ayako, and Sarah Stock, but honestly I'm more interested in their sexy than their ring skills. I mean Joshi style is the most copied wrestling tstyle. But what they do just doesn't feel as important as what men do. Though I do mark for Akira Hokuto

Like I said, if u haven't seen them they're all over Youtube.

Both. Still don't feel compelled to care about what the women are doing. Thank You! that is exactly how I feel about it. The "Divas" ( and BTW how stupid does that sound to you? I hate it) are just boring. They do nothing with these women that makes me want to see them do anything.

Bah, haters. I know i'll be enjoying it anyway, sure 25 people is a bit much and the risk of clusterf***iness is high, and it still would be, if the ring had guys in it instead.
And a lot of girls getting mania paychecks this year, good for them.

It wouldn't be too freakin' boring or insulting if they just put in Alicia fox, Natalya, Gail Kim, Melina, Mickie, Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea or even Rosa Mendes/Roucka and past divas the likes of Lita, Trish stratus, Victoria, Ivory.
What I mean is, McRibs, Maria, Candice, Maryse, Eve, The Twins can be an insult to women's wrasslin, but diva-wise. Okayyy

This is probably going to be the only good match any promotion puts on this year, so learn to appreciate true art.

Though I do mark for Akira Hokuto i wish i saw girls like alicia fox, melina, layla and to a lesser extent the bellas walking down my street because theyre almost the only ones i find attractive, 'blonde' was probably the wrong description for me to use because what i actually meant was i find girls on the paler end of the spectrum unattractive and similar, sue me, and in my neighbourhood there isnt many of those so yeah to me i see more attractive girls than the divas everywhere i go, and yes that includes the ones that i interact with, dont know what you mean about "watching" them though im not trying to get arrested, but if i hit up a club and watch i see a million kelly kellys so i dont see the big deal

It'd STILL be piss-break... No matter how you turn it, Women's wrestling in WWE has been little more than a farce, or than a good excuse for showing some plastic skin. Quick, name the most memorable moment in Women's westling in the last 5 years, NOT being Mickie "fingering" Trish. Beth getting Melina to kick herself in the head. Yeah, it was ripped off from SHIMMER, but it was still awesome. I do take your point, though. All of my really memorable moments in women's wrestling are from SHIMMER. Was that Melissa's Koda Clutch on Vol 4? Or was it the 23943298743 other times that MsChif has been bent ridiculously?

It's a throwaway match in what appears to be a show that the company expects you to buy based on the name, and not what the card is. I feel like this is going to be a 4 hour RAW rather than the 'biggest show of the year.' So with that being said, the battle royale is not really insulting, its just going along with whats been an uneven, half-assed booking of WM 25.
Not to mention all this talk about old divas coming back and as of now 19 of the 25 spots are filled by current divas that I don't watch.

Wow...could some people here be a little bit more sexest?
This battle royal is "insulting" only because it portrays women's wrestling as a novelty. But then again, based on some of the comments here, why wouldn't they?
There are both athletic and non-athletic women in WWE's roster right now. It'll probably happen that most of the non-athletes will be thrown out very quickly in the match, and it'll come down to the ones who can actually wrestle. I actually am feeling that if Trish is in it, she will win, and for some reason I'm thinking (and maybe even hoping) it will come down to her and Mickie.
Her and Mickie showed that there could be a great women's match full of intensity that's Wrestle Mania caliber, and for countless reasons other than the fact that Mickie "fingered" her. There was some playboy pillow fight match that same night that nobody will remember other than if they remember it for being TERRIBLE. I don't think WWE doesn't acknowledge this. I just think that it's because of comments I've read in here, as well as the kinds of individuals who DO like to see women roll around and pull hair that they only think to put on novelty showcases when it comes to women.

I don't hate the divas or anything, it's just that I don't feel any importance in what they do. As for the Mickie/Trish match, the "fingering" of Trish got one of the biggest pops of the night, so I doubt those fans in Chicago were actually caring about the actual wrestling, then cheering on the psycho lesbian Mickie onto victory.

I'd quite like a pre-show battle royal this year - even though 2 on 1 card might seem too much, remember...they did 2 lumberjack matches at WM23, so why not 2 battle royals at WM25?!
