Rockstar should make the WWE games. When you're not wrestling you're hanging out backstage killing divas and chasing Batista for crack so you can give it to Shane McMahon for a $100 reward.

EA even charge for downloadable commentary, so if they got the liscense, someone, somewhere will conceivably pay to hear Michael Cole call a match.

A Rockstar produced WWE game would be epic. I can't even imagine how awesome the gameplay, story, and visuals would be.

You know I am curious what rockstar could do with the WWE license. They did make "The Warriors" marking one of the few times in video game history a movie license did not equal hot, smelly crap.

Can someone help a Canuck out? My PS3 region is set to Canada and I can't see the demo for this anywhere. Any help would be rewarded with donuts and Wayne Gretzky.

I must be going insane, but i'm starting to agree with Godz. Why? He's had very valid points about this subpar game. I don't understand why people are attacking him. This game was like a dream come true for me, but they halfassed it, and it shows. I don't know if it's worth my $60 anymore.

I...uh....tell the truth about shoddy games?

If you like it...that's fine...good for you.
I might rent it, but since I doubt you'll be able to turn the controls into what SD vs Raw has currently or in the past...this one won't be going into my collection.

gamingring.com/forum/showthread.php?p=842569#post842569Some stuff I noticed in the video here: The HIAC looks different (And better) than SD's. Throwing someone off finally looks good, and they finally go through a table (!!!), but, LOWM ruins it in typical style by making you automatically climb down after the toss so you cant jump off the cell. Oh well. Not many guys in this game could jump off a cell anyway so thats mainly a CAW complaint. Doesn't bother me that much. I wanna see how else you can interact with the cell. Pause it at 4:40. Some other re-define matches are 1 - Steel Cage Match: Rick Rude w/ Bobby Heenan vs Jimmy Snuka 2 - Ladder Match: Big Bossman vs Mr. Perfect w/ Bobby Heenan 5:20, you can spot an option for "Royal Rumble Arena". So thats good. WM IX outside arena looks great. Bossman is a little too small but I like how he moves. Punches just like the real deal. For those interested, his finisher chain is a running corner splash, uppercut, Bossman Slam.

I am not digging the total lack of continuity in some of the quick-time sequences whatsoever.

And yet it would still sell way better than any Smackdown game has, and would have more replay value. Running Cena over with a garbage truck would never get old to me.

Now that news is extremely dissapointing. I spent a lot of time this weekend building caws of Randy Savage and others to import and I can't use their themes? This may be a dealbreaker for me. But he said "To the best of my knowledge" like he kept going on and one like he didn't really know the answers to the questions. The guy from the THQ chat last Monday said that there are custom themes. So it's like they are telling us to buy the game and find out. Although he did also say that all of the wrestlers are unlocked from the start because "they would not feel right if they kept people from playing as certain wrestlers from the start." More signs that no one at Team THQ/Yukes/WWE knows what they're doing. That company is doomed.

Can you play as all the characters from the start?! Ohhh hoo hoo I don't know. Buy the game and find out the mystery!!" WWE Legends of Wrestlemania: How will you play? Pay us $60 to find out! Coming in March! .....we think.

I will never say anything bad about Acclaim because they gave me WWF Attitude, and the opportunity to punch someone in the face until their LEGS started bleeding. That alone offered me hours of amusement.
