That was... rather odd.
Here I am reading about Lingerie Football in OT, and an Earthquake hits.
Coincidence? Probably.

I think Mrs. Belding is trapped in the school elevator. As long as she doesn't go into labor, everything will be fine.

It was a magnitude 5.0 with an epicenter 2 miles northeast of Hawthorne.
Crazy.

I was wondering why my computer desk started spontaneously rocking side to side for no reason.

Earthquakes suck, but still rather have them than tornadoes....*is handed a note*
Wait...I'm in the dead center of the state with the highest average of tornadoes in the US?
Well.....f***....

I was told we had a 3.3 out here the other day but, never noticed. Tornadoes, earthquakes and floods in a 3 week period, someone is out to get me.

Well, we did have wild fires earlier this year I believe, granted they were well west of me but, it's getting closer each time.

I live only 2 miles from the epicenter. It was shaking hard here.

Glad all I have to worry about is hurricanes, extreme rainfall, snow/ice storms. Lucky.... I have to worry about: - Tornadoes - Floods - Earthquakes(they could happen) - Ice Storms(the last few years, Oklahoma has been hit by some of the worst ice storms in the nation) - Hurricanes(were close enough to the Gulf of Mexico to be hit by the wind and rain from the hurricanes, but rarely, if ever, does a hurricane survive long enough to hit that far inland).

It was a magnitude 5.0 with an epicenter 2 miles northeast of Hawthorne. Crazy. In Massachusetts that would be considered cataclysmic

You could always, I don't know, move. It's weird how conditioned I am to earthquakes... and lucky that one hasn't caused extreme damage recently. Any damage is a bad thing, but there hasn't been a huge once since Northridge, in '94 I believe. Kinda scary though.

The weather is too much fun! ;D I never said I HATED the natural disasters here, just that those are what I have to deal with. I personally like them. Love tornadoes.
