nope try playing Street Fighter IV such cheese on the easy setting, and the fact controls suck on it as well as hit detection. I miss SF2

No sir, you are not a sissy. I use Easy usually on my first run through a game. And once I finish the story mode I move up to Normal.

I always start on Normal. That way you can either demote yourself or promote yourself later depending on if you suck or not. Unless it's a game that has no easy setting (damn you, Metal Gear Solid!)

I'm a fan of easy. Like playing games for escapism, not button mashing stress.

I usually play on easy too. After I've beat it on easy, I might try the next step up on the difficulty level... but usually not

I will have to say yes. Unless you play games for the story and nothing else. Escapism is all well and good, but if you have to do so little to progress through the game that you may as well be watching a movie, what's the point?
This is not to say I am some sort of super gamer. I stick to normal and then usually replay the game on hard. I never use very hard, or insane or legendary or whatever you want to call it. I only ever play my games on easy if I need to pick up an achievment.

What about people who don't play very often, such as myself? And therefore aren't as good/quick to target in enemies to blow off their heads?

If you are playing a shooter on normal blasting the bad guys anywhere a few times is usually more than enough to put them down.

I generally start on easy, and if I really enjoy the game try it on progressively harder difficulties. Unless easy is recockulously easy, then I turn it up right of the bat.

I see no problem with playing games on the easiest setting, I usually do it so that I can figure out how the game works before I properly try to beat it.
Secondly, anyone who says you're a 'pussy' for playing a game on the easiest setting is clearly a dick. It's just a computer game you yutz, not WWII.

I used to play all my Mega Drive and SNES games on easy. Man games were hard in the old days.

Like others, I'd play the game on easy if I still can't beat it on normal. I'd play games in any difficulty mode, depending on my mood, in any case.
One example of me playing in easy at times is this game, since it's incredibly hard even at normal mode:

No sir, you are not a sissy. I use Easy usually on my first run through a game. And once I finish the story mode I move up to Normal. same here. Especially with really story-heavy games like the MGS games, where I play it a lot just for the story.

Most games I play on normal to hard. I usually don't play easy unless normal is too hard, because games are boring and unrewarding when they're easy.
