I loved it too. Great action, awesome CGI, some good comedy, Megan Fox. It was a live action cartoon. It's a movie about a f***ing toy line, it's not going to be Citizen Kane.

I loved that movie as well, and while I'm at it, I'd like to add that the "Micheal Bay is a terrible director and puts explosions everywhere" jokes are f'n obnoxious.

I really don't have much to add... I too love Transformers... but dude your sig is Amazing. Thank you sir. I laugh every time I see yours, too. I can't believe they got the two Morrisons confused. When I was watching the PPV, I remember them saying the name wrong. I looked down at my beer and got a confused look on my face, like maybe I was hearing things. Oh, and I loved the movie as well. Could have had more shots of the robots, but it was enjoyable. I begged and pleaded with my friends that they had to see that movie (after all, I had gone to really shitty movies with them and they snorking owed me), but they didn't want to do it. So I went and had a blast, told them how good the movie was, but they never wanted me to bring it over for movie night. So I finally got one of them to see it when it was on HBO one night and they thought it was a good fun movie. I rubbed it in and told him that it was soooooo much better on the big screen. And when the others finally saw the film, they agreed. And after seeing the trailer for that movie before Star Trek, I think we've decided to see that one in IMAX. Which is good, since I got scuttled when I had planned on seeing Watchmen in IMAX with them, but they pulled out. Because the next day they were going to the Science Museum to see some movie about The Grand Canyon in IMAX. I'm going to argue for Transformers 2 in IMAX, since I haven't seen a movie in IMAX for about 18 years now. It's about time I get my way.

I had some good fun with this movie, and that's all I ask from a summer blockbuster.
Sometimes, I don't want a movie with deep, thought-provoking storylines and Oscar-caliber performances. Sometimes, I just want to see excretory matter blow up and awesome action sequences.
I'm pumped for Revenge of the Fallen.

I liked it It reminded me of an 80's movie, not like that's a bad thing And the effects were just astounding as to how detailed it can be Of course, I never watched an episode of the original cartoon so maybe that's why I'm alittle lenient on it.

Effective popcorn flick with enough "fan service" to register as fan service. As movie adaptations go, I've seen far worse. The goings on in Transformers didn't happen in two hours, you can only expect so much. Plus, Wittwicky (sp?) is fun to say.

I f***ing hate Michael Bay. This movie was alright. Probably his best movie, which isn't saying much.

I enjoyed it. It was pretty much what I was expecting, a mindless action flick with kick ass robots. Can't wait for 2

Stop lubricating the man, Bumblebee....... *sigh* It was good for a Bay film (loved "The Rock" BTW) but could have been WAY BETTER

Dammit.
My quest for Transformers toys is still not going well. All anyone has is the Animated ones, which I don't want. Rumor has it ROTF stuff hits shelves tomorrow.

I hated Transformers as a kid but I liked the movie a lot for what it is (eye candy).

Er...make that Saturday. Apparently there is an embargo on ROTF things hitting shelves until the 30th. Meh. Still doesn't mean stuff might not be out tomorrow I guess. But I won't hold my breath.

I thought the movie was pretty cool for what it was. Soundtrack sucked, though.

I found that out first-hand. I went to Wal-Mart today on a whim, just to see if they had one of the two figures I need (Animated Longarm/Shockwave and Universe Vector Prime), and saw the 2 ROTF Preview figures. Naturally, I snatched them up, but at the register they wouldn't ring up, and they ended up telling me that there was a recall on them. I guess I now know why...
