And to think, they were gonna trade Melky away. I think he's gonna be a Yankee for years to come.

Here comes Luis Vizcaino to be the latest casualty. Well he was an addition by subtraction for the Cubs, so good luck with that.

You know, watching my favorite team, the Blue Jays, demolish the White Sox made me realise a few things.
* I miss those old Blue Jays jerseys. Boy were those great and different.
* I really feel like the Blue Jays could get to the playoffs this year (Please god, let me be right).

As long as that means the Yankees don't again, then I'm for it. Go Canada!

The story about the game from the AP:
Gardner had the first inside-the-park homer in the ballpark's young history, then tripled to start a three-run ninth inning that carried the Yankees over the Minnesota Twins 5-4 and stopped a five-game home losing streak.
paragraphs later...
Gardner was 3-for-3, falling a triple short of the cycle.
For the record, he was a double short of the cycle.

I still laugh at the Rangers. Jealous of the 1st place? Don't get too gassed up, they'll be knocked down to second in about ten days flat.

We're off to a good start, and we're not even full strength with the rotation right now. I think with Cito at the helm we have a better shot than we have for the past few years for sure.

Man, I can't believe what I'm seeing.
The Rangers....with a winning record?
Dude...I don't want to jinx them, but....I don't think playoffs are a far away dream this season!

The Mets...are actually fighting back in the late innings to win games?
(Flips finger up and down his mouth)
Oh yeah, David Wright is out of hibernation and he's angry baby! ;D

If they make the playoffs I"ll personally drive up to see every home game. I don't know if they'll make the playoffs again during my lifetime.

He's absolutely underrated, at least today. People seem to forget that he managed the Jays to two World Series victories. I think it's because we're in the AL East, aka the Yankees and Red Sox show. Also, great baserunning by Alexei Ramirez. Yes, that's sarcasm.

Another bad call by the umps in the Yanks//Twins series. This time, it worked in favor of the Yanks
