Bottom 16 ended, padres won, I watched the 22 and 18 inning ones last year, so I like it/am used to it, cause this is when everyone gets nutty

Well it's May 17th, so expect the Yankees to bring up the David Wells perfect game time and time again.

The only performance enchancer Wells needed was ciggerettes, beer, donuts, and maybe cocaine.... And I know that you can't judge the users by body type, twas only joking about how fat David Wells is/was.

Don't know if that tops Doc Ellis pitching the no-hitter on LSD though.

Amazing.
Joe Maddon wrote in both Longoria and Ben Zobrist at 3B on the lineup card, intending to DH Longo today. Zobrist played the field in the 1st, and Wedge pointed this out. Rays had to forfeit the DH and Pitcher ANDY SONNANSTINE is now hitting third in the lineup. Longoria never technically entered the game, so he's on the bench.

Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers has a no-hitter through six. I don't know how much longer he'll last though. He's already near 100 pitches.
EDIT: Make it seven. Thrown 108 pitches.

Kershaw with a no-no thru 7. 108 pitches, though.

Even if Longo couldn't DH for whatever reason, why didn't they start Longoria? I am a confused. EDIT: And even IF they couldn't start EITHER of those guys, WHY would he not put any bench player, ANY BENCH PLAYER, in the 3 hole instead of Sonnanstine? This makes no sense whatsoever!

They were giving Longoria a day off in the field by letting him DH. Since Longoria was penciled in to bat 3rd, and Tampa lost their DH privileges, Sonnanstine had to bat for him. All you gave to know is that Joe Maddon is a genius who can do no wrong. [/sarcasm]

Talk about Wells being hung over. Hell Mantle was drunk every game he played.

Omar Vizquel just tripled. The old man can still move.
Rangers are up 2-0 on the Angels in the bottom of the 8th.
Who are these people and what have they done with my Rangers?
